Morning HHD
Great that they asked you to cover a class officially. I'm sure if something comes up you'd be first on their list for a job. :T
Sounds like you have a lot of form filling to dohope you manage to work your way through it without it causing too much hassle.
How's the de-cluttering going in DS's room? Have you seen the photo Nicky Campbell posted of his daughter's room? It made me feel a bit better that untidy bedrooms seem to be a common theme. :rotfl:
Have a lovely day. xx0 -
Covering classes is good experience & will look well on a CV should anything come up on the job front. Well worth doing.

Boo to the student finance, fingers crossed it goes through smoothly and there are no hiccups.

Thanks all of you. Being asked to do the TA cover can only be a good thing

I haven't seen that photo TF2 but I'm sure I'd find it very comforting.

I've had a busy and slightly frustrating day. DH and I filled in the Current Income Form for DS3's student finance this morning before I went to work. But there may be another (third) form we need to fill in, but we aren't sure so need to ring and ask them . Anyway DH had had enough by then so said he'd finish it another time. I feel a bit frustrated that it's not finished but it can't be helped.
I went to work after that to do my lunchtime job. It rained fairly steadily during the whole of lunch, but luckily it was light rain so the children played outside. It's lucky I have a waterproof coat! The office said I need to claim overtime for yesterday morningso I logged in and did that just now (hopefully correctly).
Then I came home, persuaded DS1 to make a phone call as an important appointment was clashing with a doctors appointment and needed to be rescheduled.
After that was done, I started work on my assignment. It's in three parts so I decided to do part one today, part two tomorrow and part three on Thursday. Then it will be finished just in time to submit it by Friday when I have my tutorial. It's a bit last minute for my liking but we have been a bit busy recently! The part I did today was on health and safety legislation and how it's applied in schools and colleges, so it was staggeringly dull (yawn). But the next two parts are more interesting luckily.
I did a couple of short OP surveys and am creeping up towards my cash out point of £25. PA only seems to be giving me surveys that you can't do on a tablet or ones that are full up lately. And YG, well we all know how slow they are so it's going to take me another nine months at least to cash out with them.
Spends today were £3 on milk and diet coke. We need to do a Mr T order so I'm hoping we can do it tonight. I don't know what to cook tonight as our oven is still not working. Hotpoint can't send an engineer until Thursday, so I'm not very impressed with that .
I hope everyone is having a good Tuesday and didn't share our rain. I think the weather is going to be better tomorrow, I hope so anyway as I've been working in the rain a lot lately. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Loving reading your diary , always full of news, be it good or bad. I remember the student finance forms well , it just had to be done .
Great news on the TA time , extra money always welcome. Boo to the oven not working , hope they fix it Thursday for you.
For once we have had sunshine today and no rain . Just washing up , then as it's payday , will be buying the premium bonds .
Have a good evening:)Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.0 -
Pleased to say we didn’t share the rain. We have had a strange yellow thing in the sky - think it was the sun but I’ve forgotten what it looks like since I’ve not seen it for a while....January spends - £587.580
