School was good today. The whole school had no internet so nobody could do their prepared lessons and the teachers had to improvise :rotfl:. It was warm and sunny so it was nice to be outdoors
. I volunteered to go on the school trip and the head teacher has agreed I can go instead of doing my lunchtime job. My year group will be on the trip anyway so I'm not quite sure what I'd do if I was at school .
I'm going to Pilates with my friend this evening for the first time in about four weeks, so I'll probably be very stiff and achey afterwards, but it's good to get back to normal.
My cold seemed to suddenly get worse this morning so I was wishing I'd taken my decongestant tablet as it seemed quite effective when I took it on Friday. I'm not supposed to take them because I have asthma, but it's very difficult being at work with a runny nose so I decided to risk taking one on Friday morning. Luckily it had no ill effects and it did dry up my cold a bit.
I realised at the weekend that it's officially summer now, so I decided to leave my cardigan at home today and I didn't need it.
I hope everyone is having a good Friday. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

It's odd when colds do that, HHoD - I mean they seem to be getting better, then suddenly symptoms start kicking in again, but it does frequently happen. I reckon it's when our immune systems are battling with the virus & sometimes the virus has a little surge before being quashed. Years ago when I started my first professional job (with the public & especially with 0-14s), I can remember in my interview, I was asked about my health & I airily said I was hardly ever ill. Two months in.....tonsillitis, laryngitis, colds, ear infection........ you name it! My immunity did improve as I went along though.2025's challenges: 1) To fill our 10 Savings Pots to their healthiest level ever
2) To read 100 books (36/100) 3) The Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg

I was never ill when I was self employed and I didn't have a cold for years. Then as soon as I started work in a school I caught flu  and a series of head colds .
I hope I don't get laryngitis, tonsilitis, or an ear infection though . I've had my appendix out so I'm safe from appendicitis :rotfl:.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
