I wouldn't be surprised Pauline, I've still got about sixteen to go through :rotfl:. DS2 does throw away the oddest things. He chucked out two complete sets of Next bedding once because he said they were mouldy . But they were just dirty so I washed them :rotfl:.
DH does get going when the going gets tough, we make a good team.
You should definitely start a diary Pauline, I'd subscribe to it.
It's about 10 degrees here and we don't even have the heating on yet, so I'm expecting it to be colder further north .Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Oh for goodness sake, haven't you done the bags yet? I am joking by the way.
My other half is a boarder and absolutely hates to lose anything from the house. I got caught out, surreptitiously removing items that I thought he would not miss. Unfortunately he noticed I had removed a Mickey Mouse glass which he noticed within an hour ..Unfortunately when I went to the charity shop to reclaim it, they had managed to break it whilst sorting the box...... he still hasn't forgotten four years on.
When we need to, we work exceptionally well together but when we have too much time, we can annoy each other.
Off for a short walk, go me!

You need to hide it for a month Pauline, then if he doesn't notice it can go to the charity shop. If he asks after it any time in the future say it's in a cupboard somewhere and he can look for it if he wants. Trust me, he will be too lazy to look. That's what I do anyway.

I didn't sleep very well last night as I had a lot on my mind
.
My dad rang and invited us to their Silver Wedding party but said that grandchildren were not invited, he then said that the grandchildren that lived nearby were invited, but not the ones who lived further away (like ours). In other words all my step mum's grandchildren are invited, but my dad's grandchildren are not invited.
DH and I felt offended, but perhaps we're being oversensitive. It's a long drive but I feel we ought to go as they're not getting any younger, however it would have been nice to have taken the DC too. I just feel it's not nice to exclude people. They're having it in a relative's garden so it wouldn't be expensive per head.

Anyway I mustn't brood over silly mattters.
I did over 10, 000 steps yesterday and I didn't leave the house, I've never done that before. We're almost packed, just the last minute things and sandwiches to make.
Then tonight we will be in a comfortable hotel room, so hopefully we'll sleep better. I haven't slept in a hotel for six years so that will be a novelty
Have a good Friday everyone.
