  • Now we we very well behaved here in the Midlands so I don't want to hear of any rowdy behaviour!

Pleased to hear the journey was good and you are off for a meal. We've just finished homemade curry whilst watching the F1.

    Take care

Glad to hear you had a good journey.

Shame your children aren’t invited to the silver wedding party, I can understand why you are miffed by that, and you are certainly not being over sensitive.

Hope you enjoy the wedding, and the Tesco voucher meal

  • You sound like you’ll have a lovely time at the wedding Hairy. Great that family are staying at the hotel as well.

Re the anniversary- I would be extremely hurt and angry. But you say that your stepmum is a kind person. Why don’t you have a quiet word with her and explain how hurt you, OH and the children will feel if they are excluded. You mentioned the work problem - sometimes elderly men like your dad can be quite dogmatic about the “work shy younger generation” which of course isn’t true and certainly not in your children’s cases. A woman to woman heart to heart may solve the problem.

    Enjoy your weekend.

  • Hi there

I hope you have had a lovely day. It's been a bright frosty day here, brilliant for a winter wedding.

    Have a safe journey home
