    Hope you've had a lovely weekend. :)

I would be offended as well about the invite and would be asking for an explanation why. :(

  • Thanks everyone :). The wedding was lovely and the sun shone, although it was cold.

My niece looks like Keira Knightly so you can imagine how gorgeous she looked in her dress. The venue and food were amazing too :). It was great to see everyone, although you only get about five minutes with each person.

The hotel was really nice, so all in all a good weekend. When we went down for breakfast the next morning half of the tables in the hotel were occupied by my family, which felt a little surreal :rotfl:

I want to do a proper cost breakdown of the whole weekend, so we tried to collect as many receipts as we could and I'll add it all up tomorrow when I'm less tired.

I made a feeble effort to do some work today and did three PA surveys and a YG one.

Now I can plan Christmas, I can't believe it's only a month away . I also want to lose four pounds before Christmas , so no more chocolate and plenty of walks are planned.

  • With regard to the anniversary I won't say anything because although my step mum has been kind to me, she is also quite moody :(.

My sister and I tend to keep her sweet so that we can gain access to my dad, as she tends to rule the roost a bit. So although I'm offended and so is my sister, we're used to it .

Luckily my mum and stepdad love my DC almost as much as I do, so there are never any problems there :)

Pleased to read you had a fab time :) The only relatives I have left apart from kids/grandkids are a handful of cousins who I only see at funerals as they live all over the country. This has its good and bad points.

  • I think any big family celebration is draining although very enjoyable so it isn't surprising you didn't manage much work.

Today I managed to get out - a hospital appointment, 2 shops, library and chemist - go me! Ended up sleeping for four hours when I got home though.

Glad you had a good time, well worth the travel
    Take care honey
