 reading the instructions?! Don't you only do that after you have broken a key part?

    I suspect it's a delaying tactic ;)

Well the shed isn't finished :(. The batons have been attached to the floor piece and the door is attached to the front piece and the lock, etc screwed on. But DH has been resting since 5pm. He also had lots of rests in between doing it and put the hinges on wrong and had to take them off and redo them. So it's not going to be finished today. I feel disappointed but it can't be helped :(. I hope he finishes it tomorrow.

I've been organising clothes in the void as they were all muddled up. I've sorted them into three boxes labelled sentimental clothing (DH's wedding suit, baby shoes, etc), clothes that are too big, and summer clothes. At least we'll know which box to look in to find things now which will save time. Plus the sentimental clothes were stored in a holdall which wasn't mouse proof or damp proof. They'll all in plastic boxes now with silica gel sachets in to stop them getting damp :).

There's a lot more I can do tomorrow but I'm going to call it a day now for the de-cluttering. The large void is largely organised and de-cluttered now though :).

If the shed does get finished tomorrow then I can de-clutter the cupboard under the stairs, but I don't know if it will get finished tomorrow or not :(. I can either do more de-cluttering indoors tomorrow or some weeding and pruning in the garden. I'll see how I feel tomorrow.

Fingers crossed it will annoy DH that it's a half done job and he'll be out there first thing so he can cross it off his 'to do' list. Then he can spend the rest of Bank Holiday doing whatever he likes doing :) Make sure you don't overdo it and take some time to rest as well before you're back in work. xx

I hope so TF2 but we shall see.

I'll make sure I schedule in some rest time too :). I think I'll focus on tidying, hoovering and possibly dusting tomorrow, as that's less tiring than gardening. And I'm still on my mission to make the house a hostile environment for mice :).

At least today I've killed all the weeds on the patio and moved the wheelie bin to it's proper home, plus when I was moving the pots I pulled out the dead bedding plants so now they're ready for fresh ones to be planted when we buy some. Last year I had success with Marigolds, Geraniums and later on with some Chrysanthemums, so I'll get those again in the summer. I won't bother with Primulas as the slugs and snails ate the buds before they could flower.
