    Bitty comments :

All people's wonderful suggestions for 'feeding' mice (raisins, peanut butter, chocolate spread !!)make me think they have Cordon Bleu options !! Hope they all actually work.

The idea of meeting relatives at a central point is a really good one, and definitely not so tiring.

Reading several days diary on the trot made me notice you'd had a number of headaches recently, and maybe you've just been trying to fit too much in. I hope several good nights rest chases them away, and you can find some relaxation time in your busy schedule.

Re naps, I read once of the idea that as coffee is supposed to take ~15 mins to give you the energy burst, you drink your coffee and THEN nap. Because it will curtail the nap you don't slip into deep sleep.

I understand missing the mammogram. If guys had their testicles crushed between 2 metal plates, I don't think they'd be very keen either. Sometimes it hurts, and sometimes totally painless - unpredictable, but I'm afraid I always get a bit panicky as the upper plate descends !

OH doesn't want a SatNav because he's got an excellent geographical sense, and likes maps, so doesn't wish to lose a skill. I don't want one because I'd never know where I'd been or how I'd got there !!!

Thanks Elizabeth :). We haven't actually seen a mouse since DS3 left, perhaps he took them with him :rotfl:.

My headaches have gone now so I'm sure they were tiredness related as I very rarely get them.

Mammograms are horrible :(. I've only had one and I'm not looking forward to this one .

I never used to think I would like a sat nav until we had one and then I fell in love with it :).

I hope you and your family are well Elizabeth?

Sounds like a lovely day and a nice weekend planned.

The clothes also sound really nice. Treating yourself is well deserved at the minute and I am glad you are doing it. xx

Thanks Nicnak :). I still feel a bit guilty, but as long as I don't keep making a habit of it.

Well I didn't do everything I'd planned to do but I did clean out the furry moron, put away the clean laundry, do another wash and hang that up. I felt quite tired after that, but then I have did do about 10,000 steps around town. So I did a sitting down job. We have some garment covers for the hanging rail in our bedroom, but the holes where the coathangers go are too wide and the clothes get dusty, so I've sewn five of them to make them smaller this afternoon :A.

I'm hoping DH may put up the shed tomorrow as he's mainly been relaxing today, but we'll see.

Tomorrow I want to move a load of pots around in the garden so I can put the new wheelie bin in it's permanent home. And then sweep the area and get rid of moss where the new shed is to go. Hopeful aren't I? :rotfl:

Then I want to do some more de-cluttering and re-arranging in the void. I'll also do some more laundry. It's not exciting but it needs doing and at least I won't be spending any money :).

Maybe all your decluttering activity has scared them off?

I've had several, and TBH although it may be uncomfortable, it's over pretty quickly. Just take a good book for all the hanging around!

I love my sat nag too. Particularly the way it finds clever routes around traffic jams (although sometimes I do wonder where exactly it thinks I'm going!).

Sometimes I wonder where the sat nav is taking us Greenbee but it's always right so I should learn to trust it :).

I did pick up a lot of food packaging and rubbish off DS3's floor and couldn't believe he'd made so much mess in just one month . Maybe the mice are lying low and only coming out at night :rotfl:. I'm convinced they're still around so I need to continue my de-cluttering efforts. Once the shed is up I'm hoping we can find time to fill up a few holes on the outside of the house.

I forgot to say that DH booked DS2's new trip abroad last night :(. He's going to Portugal and South America for a month this time. I'm excited for hm but also worried about him. I know it's a great life experience but I just want him to be safe.

:Glad to hear you feel more rested now HHOD after your marathon weekend . If you can book a cheap hotel next time , you will feel much better.
It's good to hear you have spent some money on yourself such as your hair and some new clothes . I am sure you will get your wear out of your purchases.
It's your fault I have gone decluttering mad:rotfl::rotfl:. In a nice way of course. Hope the mice have gone on holiday never to return.

DS2 has definitely got the travel bug , when is he off again ? Has DH been better today after his work stress . Have a good weekend , sending good vibes for the shed to go up !
Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.

If the mice were about you’d see mouse poo... but until you’re sure make hygiene a priority, particularly for food prep as mice are incontinent...
