I'm not surprised you have lots of readers - it's a very compelling diary. What is especially nice is to see so many 'de-lurkers' wishing you well.
I subscribe to a rather intellectual Scrabble thread on Facebook, and although I am a more than competent player, the technical and mathematical discussions can leave me both cold & baffled ! But I like to pop my head above the parapet periodically on behalf of mere mortals and ask questions that maybe others are too intimidated to de-lurk for !
De-lurking here by contrast is a joy.0 -
Am de lurking to say congratulations HHOD and thanks too. I think I read about the resolver tool on your thread. Anyway after successfully claiming thousands in PPI for my parents years ago, I never did anything about the packaged bank account. So when I read about the website, went on there, put a claim in for them, they are now £3400 better off! Well done am so pleased for you.
You sound like you are enjoying your job. It is such an important role. When the children get to know you, you can be an important friend to them. Mine have very fond memories of their lunchtime staff from primary school. They all seemed to work there for years and are unsung heroes as far as I'm concerned. Much nicer than Mrs F*sher from my school who used to make me eat rice pudding :mad:Total weight lost 6.5/73lbs starting yet again. Afds August 10/15. /8 Sept.0 -

I slept really well after Pilates so I must have needed it. My back and neck feel a bit achey this morning though as I have a weak core, but that's all the more reason to keep going. I keep meaning to do some yoga from my Barbara Currie DVD on other days and failing, just ten minutes a day would help to strengthen my core, so I must try harder to do some.
After work today I want to put some laundry on to wash as the laundry baskets are full, then I want to ring the hospital and chase up DS1's ADHD assessment. Then DH and I want to take our packaged bank account rejections to the ombudsman via the Revolver tool.
Finally if I have the time and energy after that I'll start my assignment. But the other stuff is important and I have every afternoon that I can do my assignment.
I managed to find my O'Level and A'Level certificates this morning, I had a sudden brainwave about where they could be :T. Just in case I get an interview for another job and need to prove I have O'Level English
. I like to be prepared.
It's a very grey and windy day today, but as long as it's only drizzle the children should go out to play (I hope!). Now I need breakfast and ibuprofen for my achey neck and back
