Children are so funny, I guarantee something they say or do will make you laugh every day - behind closed doors of course ;)

The school does sound lovely and although you've only just started this job I can see you progressing into other things as you come across as a really nice person and a natural where children are concerned.

Nearly £250 per month is a nice sum of money for the hours and more importantly a job that you enjoy doing. xx
  • So glad you had an amazing time at work an that you are enjoying it. Everyday really is different when working with children, you know this from your volunteering though. xx
    September 2017 Debt = £25330

    Starting afresh.

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Your description of your work made me chuckle. My mum did a similar job in a secondary school and it was awful - I hated her having to go. The abuse she got there ((shudder)). Anyway, so pleased its lovely and I agree it's because you are a good fit for the school.

Thank you TF2 :). I did enjoy my own children when they were that age (I still like them now as well :rotfl:).

I agree that the money's not bad for seven hours a week and in August I'll get paid for doing nothing :D.

Thank you Nicnak :). It is beautifully varied compared to an office job.

Thank you Earthgirl :). I would HATE to work in a secondary school . Children are so much nicer when they're little. About four of them suddenly hugged me yesterday and told me that they loved me :). They're so sweet :).

Sounds like you had 2 great days, and getting paid too!! Sounds wonderful.

Now you know you will have funds for your nt every year as you will have some savings and the 2 council tax free months once you get your arrears sorted. Well done
