  • DS2 has rebooked his flights to Greece :). He's also decided to add on another week in Serbia on his way home. I get quite envious of his travelling, but I'm delighted for him that he can do it and he works so hard that he deserves it :).

  • I am envious too. That sounds lovely. I think I would like to go to Serbia as well. He sounds like he is really living his life and enjoying it too. x

  • He is obsessed with travelling but works hard inbetween. He doesn't have many living expenses as he lives at home so that helps him to pay for his trips. It's good to be able to do these things while you're young and free of responsibilities.

Your child doing it is the next best thing to doing it yourself :).

  • I agree, I was married very young so didn't get the chance to do it. *My own choice, but something I do regret now).

I know that I would always encourage my little one to go and see the world first. I plan on doing it when she is older. x

  • I hope you're having a good day, HH. The sun is shining here and the daffodils in our garden are a lot further on than they were this time last year. I expect the daffodils are in full bloom in your area but they are always late here.

The visit to stay with my friend next week has been postponed for reasons which I've written about in my own diary. I'm quite relieved actually as I just don't feel like going away with a clear mind at the moment. We'll reschedule for the summer and at least I'll have something to look forward to and get more organised for.

I managed to find some clothes to take this time without having to raid the charity shops. I could barely spare the time to go and visit them anyway. I'd already freshened everything up ready to pack before we agreed to postponing the visit. My main concern was some sort of coat as I only have one smart coat and it's that lovely black one with the fur collar that I bought for £14 in a charity shop for my Brother's funeral last March. It is a lovely coat but too thick and warm for the current milder weather. Problem over now though as I can just rely on my usual wardrobe when I go anywhere locally here. I don't dress to impress:rotfl:. So long as whatever I wear is clean and tidy I'm happy.

If only DIA! But as I don't even do the lottery that will make a win harder :rotfl:.
