Thanks SSG :). Yes it's good he's going to get a refund. He needs to hurry up and book new flights now to fit in with his hostel bookings and train bookings . I hope he can manage that or he may have to cancel everything and start again .

I did our weekly food shop in Mr T this morning. It came to £77.26 which is an overspend :(. But I did do a bit of stocking up again. I have to confess that Brexit is worrying me slightly. They're telling people not to stockpile, but then say prices will probably go up. Well some people can't afford to pay higher food prices, so I'm feeling a strong compulsion to stock up which things are still reasonably priced :o.

We needed laundry powder which was £4 for a big box, I got two bottles of shampoo as it was only an extra pounds for the second bottle, bought four packs of DS1's crisps as they were half price and got six packets of vegemince as it was three packs for £4. I also bought about six bottles of pasta/curry sauce as I'm convinced the prices will go up after Brexit :o. We don't need them yet, but they won't go off for a couple of years so it doesn't feel like a waste of money to stock up on them. I also bought 1kg each of wholewheat pasta and brown rice, which we don't need but will always be useful.

I can't seem to help stockpiling :o. Oh well never mind.

This afternoon I want to organise the PPI stuff as I'm all in a muddle with it and I've finally got the time to get my head around it. I need to make a list and put all the claims into three categories: refused, needs action and waiting to hear back. Then I'll know where I am with them. The ones that need action I need to ring/write to them, or do whatever needs doing. We won't get any money back if I don't do what I need to do and it's a waste of time starting the claims if I'm not going to finish them.

I'll come on here later and report my progress to keep myself accountable :).
