Yesterday I didn't too much as I felt tired after Sunday and hadn't slept very well. I cleaned out the furry moron as I'd been too tired to do it on Saturday, emptied all the bins in the house, washed some towels and went to Pilates. So a fairly quiet day.
Yesterday the only spends were £5 at Pilates.
This morning I need to finish my assignment because my next tutorial is on Friday. It's 3,500 words already and I'm only halfway through it, so I hope it's not going to be too long:eek:. I asked the tutor how long it should be and she said it didn't matter as long as you covered everything! I've still got a lot of topics to cover .
It's another lovely sunny day, so it's a shame I'm going to be glued to a computer all day, but it will be good to get my assignment finished. It should be a NSD anyway.
DS2 booked his next trip abroad on Friday. Unfortunately he booked his flights with Airbmi  and they went into administration the very next day. But he booked through Exp3dia and they said he'll get a full refund within fifteen days. So he'll need to book new flights. It's lucky he can afford to book them before he gets the refund! He's going to Greece this time for three weeks

Good luck with getting the assignment finished today. Thank goodness your DS will get a refund and has the money to re-book with another company. I know neither situation is good but I'd rather be here sorting another flight out than abroad trying to get home.
Have a good day. xx0 -
Thanks TF2
. Yes it's lucky DS2 wasn't stranded abroad, he would't have liked that . He took out travel insurance when he booked the flights so that's probably why he's getting a full refund.
I'm feeling pleased with myself because I've finished my assignment and emailed it to my tutor :T. I thought it would take all day but it only took a couple of hours to finish :T. I over estimated the amount of work left. The finished assignment is around 5,300 words so not as long as I thought it was going to be. Hopefully it will be okay. We only get a pass/fail, but I don't think they really fail anyone, they just tell them to improve the assignment if they've missed bits out or something.
I'm looking forward to going to the next tutorial on Friday as it sounds interesting.

Good news for DS about his flight refund:j. Martin was talking a bit about travel insurance on his programme last night. He also said that he's doing a PPI programme next Monday and it will be his last on that subject before the deadline for claiming.
Well done on finishing the assignment and getting it sent off:T. It's always a good feeling to still have time to spare before the deadline. It's a far cry from my student days (and yours too although you are a lot younger than me;)) when we had to write everything by hand or maybe type it on a regular typewriter. Then there was having to use a dictionary to make sure we'd spelt things correctly. PC spellcheckers are a wonderful invention:T
Now try to relax a bit. You've earned it and maybe now the weight of finishing the assignment is lifted from your mind you might be able to sleep better tonight:beer:0 -
Thanks Carboot
. It does feel good to have the assignment finished. I would hate to leave it until the absolute last minute, although I often did that when I was at uni . It would worry me to death to do that now. In fact next time I want to get it done a lot sooner.
Now that I have my college assignment done and dusted :T and my job trial and interview out of the way :T I can finally look at the PPI stuff over the next few days. I know that I need to ring one creditor and compose a letter to another. It's all a right faff but I must do it or there'll be no chance of getting any money out of anyone. I need to get myself organised by looking through it all and making a list of what needs to be done, as it's all in a muddle in my head at the moment .Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
