  • Hi lovely,

Really glad that the course went well today and yay to having a month to do the assignment.

    Have a great afternoon xx
  • In more good news I've cashed out £30 from One Poll today :T. I was 10p short and they've given me 10p for nothing. It should hit my account in 28 days.

I think I'll use it to treat myself to some clothes because the tax rebate will cover bills and I've had such an emotional and stressful time recently. I feel like I want to buy something to cheer me up. My blue jeans are too big for me and I got some smaller black jeans with my Xmas money, but I have blue tops that that I can't wear at the moment because they will only go with blue jeans. So when the money arrives I think I'll buy blue jeans :).

Oh dear I've just spent ages justifying that so I must feel guilty about it :o.

Thanks Purplemum :). Yes I was pleased to have a whole month to do it. A lot of the people on the course have jobs or have children so it caters for that I guess.

I think your reasons for wanting new blue jeans are perfectly justifiable:). You treat yourself so rarely and say you wear trousers/jeans most of the time (as do I). You need more than one pair and there's nothing worse than forever having to hitch up baggy trousers;). Anyway, think of it as saving on not having to buy more tops to go with the black ones as you already have all your other tops that you can wear with your new jeans. Sorry, that sounds like gobbledegook but I know what I mean:rotfl:

I'm just thinking though that new jeans might mean more turning-up for you to do and I know how much you hate doing that particular task:rotfl:

I do understand Carboot :). I'll try on the short length because the regular was longer than I remembered so maybe they've changed the jean lengths. If short is too short then I'll have to do more taking up . It will mean I can wear four blue tops that I'm not wearing at the moment :).

I like to wear green, red, or pink tops with black jeans and blue tops with blue jeans, but that's just my personal preference I guess :). I suppose pale blue would look okay with black, but two of my tops are dark blue/navy which I think doesn't look right with the black jeans.
