Thanks Cumbria, Nicnak and purplemum. Had a good long sleep so I'm sure that will help.
Our lovely builder popped in yesterday to look at the water stain on our kitchen ceiling. He reckoned water was going down from gaps in the seal around the bath, so he put new sealant around it and just charged us a tenner. He said to draw a pencil line around the wet patch so we can be sure it's not getting bigger. Good tip I thought.
Today I will pop into town with a budget of £20 including bus fares, coffee and top up Mr T shop. Anything left over can go into Emergency Fund 2
DH has just asked me to buy him a couple of items in town costing about £10, but I won't take that out of my budget.
Hope everyone has a good SaturdayFinally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Costa is losing the plot. I ordered my usual latte and they plonked a glass in front of me. I had to ask for a spoon and a saucer. Then I looked around for a serviette and couldn't see any. I asked a staff member where the serviettes were and she said they only give them out if people ask for one. So I looked at her and she looked at me. Then I said "Well can I have one then?" and off she went to fetch me a bundle .
Then I went to the ladies and the flush mechanism front plate was missing, the floor was filthy and the sink was dusty .
If they keep this up I'm going to desert to Starbucks!
On the way there the bus was full with about eight people standing and on the way back back there was a nutter on the bus :rotfl:
It must be the Christmas effect :rotfl::rotfl:Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
