Thanks MTG and Reb. He's going to have more tests over the next couple of days, they are not sure the've found the source yet :(

We're not sure when to visit as it's a six hour drive to visit him, so we'll wait for the test results before deciding. Luckily he has lots of other family nearby so has no shortage of visitors.

  • Today was a NSD apart from £2.80 parking for DH's business meeting.

Still feel exhausted, so trying not to overdo things. I'm sure I'll get my energy back after the weekend :o

No surveys today, but siphoned some more money into Emergency Fund 2 (renamed car/Christmas fund EF 2 because it may need to be multipurpose).

I hope everyonevhas had a good Thursday :)

Blimey your diary moves fast! Sorry to hear about BIL :( Hopefully things will turn out ok in the end. I speak from experience, even if things sound bleak, it isn't always so - I've been there, done that, shrunk the tshirt - fingers crossed xx
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Sorry to hear the further BIL news. When it's such a long drive must make it hard to choose when to go.

I haven't decided whether to have the flu jab as the last time I was quite poorly afterwards. I think the jab plus the money movements plus the feelings of relief and a bit of "what now" then news of your BIL is going to be overwhelming.

Take care, thinking of you and the family

Thanks SA things do seem to be happening at the moment :o

I know you've had first hand experience of this and I'm so glad things turned out well for you (although not perfect I know).

  • Thanks pauline, it is hard to know when to visit as we can't keep going.

The flu jab is a pain but it would be worse to have flu I always think .

Yes we have had a lot to take in recently, I'd love a quiet weekend to let some of it sink in which hopefully we'll get.

I'm going to have an early night tonight so have a great evening everyone :)

I always have the jab now as I was so ill with the flu the last time I caught it.

Well done on your badge - it’s great when it’s awarded to you. :j

And my thoughts are with your poor BIL and family. I do hope things turn around for him.
