I've updated my chores list because everything on it is DONE :T :j :T apart from the peeling which I'm going to do tomorrow because there isn't room in the fridge.

I had a slight panic just now that we didn't have any ordinary food to eat tonight for dinner   and I don't want to start on the Christmas food until tomorrow. But then I remembered we have a packet of beef burgers in the freezer, a packet of fries and I have two Linda M sausages left. Phew. Tonight's dinner is taken care of. We live life close to the edge when it comes to food :o.

I've spoken to my dad on the phone and in a minute I'm going to have my hot mince pies with clotted cream while we watch a Christmas dvd :xmassmile. I think DS3 is still asleep believe it or not  but DS2 is floating around in his funny and endearing way :xmassmile.

I feel strange and unsettled when I think about my mum, but it all feels a bit unreal and I'm trying to focus on the positive today.
