  • Lots on at the moment and the next few days although not Christmas-related. Just zooming in while I have a free few spare minutes to wish you, HH, and all your family a wonderful and memorable Christmas. I know it won't be the same without your Mum but you've worked so hard to make it a really good one for DH and your boys and I'm sending lots of hugs and warm wishes your way:beer::xmastree::santa2:.

It goes without saying that I hope all the lovely people who post on HH's diary have a really enjoyable time however and wherever you spend your Christmas. I hope Santa brings you everything you wish for:beer::xmastree::santa2:.

Thank you Carboot. Happy Christmas to you too :xmastree: :xmassign:

  • We're off to DD2 this evening for 2 nights, taking so much stuff with us I needed 4 sheets of paper to list it (presents incl stockings, clothes & toiletries, food and miscellaneous) !
The last sheet also includes such things as returning 2 seasons of 'House' to DD1 while I see her and hopefully receiving the next lot.

Mustn't forget DD2's present of an outdoor mat, which is a surprise but much needed !!

Don't suppose I'll be looking in for a few days, after which I shall doubtless have lots to read.

Thank you HH, for letting me be part of your blog family this year, it has been fascinating, inspiring, saddening and thoughtful. I hope you have a lovely family Xmas, and give your Mum a special place of honour in your thoughts.

Happy Xmas to all the other kind people I've met here, enjoy your Xmasses too and I wish us all a happy and very MSE 2019 !!!

An update on the chores list which is getting ticked off nicely. I feel tired and the weather is drizzly so I'm happy to be indoors, and the others are always happy to be indoors anyway :rotfl:.

The living room looks much less cluttered now I've hung the cards on ribbons :T. DH is going to hoover so I don't have much more to do. I've got out one tin of Roses and a big packet of chocolate biscuits so DH and DS1 are in Christmas heaven :rotfl:. I'm going to have some hot mince pies with cold clotted cream dolloped on later on :xmassmile.
