My bedroom is just a tip.
I hope my friend who is looking after the cats does not look in there.
Also added to the fact that I am now finding my so called light weight hoover too heavy & it does not pick up properly.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. I hate hoovering
. My hoover is seeping dust all the over the cupboard at the moment  so I think the bag needs changing. I want DH to do it because I'm allergic to dust.

Hi Hairy,
Lovely to read you had your Saturday Saunter and costalott. I'm lucky that little one still can't reach any of the foods so she isn't able to get stuff without me! When she is older, I might invest in a safe too!

Today we're working on my business all day. But during breaks I'm trying to fit in a bit of pre Christmas tidying up.
DS1 has a friend around so he tidied the living room before they came :T.
I've finally managed to locate the Christmas dvds which were buried in the void :j. I've washed the shower curtain and it's soaking in a bucket with a whole bottle of value bleach. It always comes out looking like new after that.
I've also made a list of housework and chores that needs doing before Christmas and it's looking frighteningly long .Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Oh this list reminds me of the ones on 2 sheets of lined A4 paper that I and the girls would work through before Xmas. At the time we had family occupying every room, incl OH & I on sofa-bed in lounge and DB and his wife in sleeping-bags in the dining-room.
Each girl shared their room with a female relative and our bed went to my parents. OH has a small study which was re-purposed as a dressing-room. With only one bathroom, couldn't have people wasting time getting dressed in there !!
I daresay other people were/are more up-to-date with their normal housework than I was or ever shall be but actually the 3 of us enjoyed it. They could pick their tasks, and every 3rd job were 'required' to eat a satsuma, give me a hug or run up & down the stairs !!
The food to cook occupied another sheet to itself, but that's pleasure for me.
You look to be very well on with the preparations.0 -
