Great news about the You Gov payout - I also gave up some time ago. I should do more surveys but it's getting the time to do them which is the issue with me.
LOL to OH and paying out for the shower. Men seem to hate spending money on things like that - they always think things last forever. Mr SA is the same although he loves spending money on himself.
I'm sure you'll enjoy the weekend away once you're there, I hope so anyway.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

It's my OH who's stingy, not HH's. HH's husband sounds lovely, I'm very envious;)
I persist with a few survey sites after ditching a lot that screened me out lot and paid very little for the time some of the surveys take. Also, if the surveys are few and far between and they don't pay out until £50 is reached I've had to weigh up if it's worth the effort. I recently got paid by YouGov but I'm not sure I can be bothered slogging away all that time, a couple of years in my case, to the next redemption. As a pensioner who doesn't ever go on holiday and buys as little as possible, doesn't have multi-channels on TV except Freeview, doesn't own any technological devices apart from a laptop and never uses social media I'm obviously of little interest to the survey companies:(
I've persisted with PopulusLive as, although they only pay out at £50 too, their surveys are worth £1 to £3 each. They rarely want me though:(. There was even one for £4 last week but I was soon screened out of that one:mad:. I've been waiting on £49 for weeks now, just one measly survey required. I've had several invitation emails but have been screened out of every single one of them. After this payout I might close my account and just stick to PA and Pinecone. There's no worry about being screened out by either of them after answering lots of questions:j.0 -

Thanks SA. YG is very slow but I've been doing it for years so I keep slogging away. At least they never screen me out. I'm doing reasonably well on One Poll at the moment, I'm up to £17. But PA is the best imo
.
I will enjoy the weekend once I'm there, but it's another thing to get my head around. I'm not coping so well with stress since my mum.

I think YG is worth it despite being slow because they never screen me out, so I keep on plodding. I'm doing quite well on One Poll as I'm up to £17 atm. Cash out is £30 but and I'm getting there quite quickly. PA is my favourite though.
My DH is very generous, he just doesn't have any money.

Have you heard from the school? Hopefully you'll be able to help tomorrow if you want to.
I am sure the universe is listening. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x0 -
I haven't heard from them yet Nicnak. If I don't hear then I won't go. I've got a lot on tomorrow anyway as I'm going away on Saturday, so I may be overstretching myself!
I hope the universe is listening too.

He's generous of spirit, HH, and also gives his time willingly too. Some things are worth much more than money:). I'm still envious;)0 -

I think you're coping remarkably well since you lost your Mum.
You've soldiered on through all that computer trouble right in the midst of doing the accounts and got them done. A bit of hair-tearing maybe but you didn't go into meltdown. You've sent off application forms for jobs and are getting organised with an interview outfit so are obviously being very positive which is so lovely to hear about. There are so many other things too.
You seem to cope admirably when rubbish payers cause major cashflow problems for how your family get through even the next day. Yes, you seem pretty 'down' sometimes when you tell us about events but that's why being able to let off steam to virtual friends is so good. You always seem to bounce back and I bet through it all you've been a tower of strength to your stepdad. DH and sons.
Please don't do yourself down, HH. After everything that you've had to contend with and are still battling through you're an inspiration to me ( and I've only got OH to moan about:( ). Honestly, HH, you're a star:A0
