. I only needed 70 points to cash out on YG but thought I wouldn't manage it before Xmas. But then I got a 25 point survey just now. When I finished it I noticed another survey on the site for 50 points, so I did that and now I've cashed out my £50 .
Now at least one of the kids can have Xmas presents
Congratulations on the YouGov payout:T:j:beer:.
Now YouGov just transfer the money instead of sending a cheque it seems to arrive very quickly:j. I reached payout level after what seemed like years on Monday 10th September and the money was in my current account by Monday17th:j. My bank doesn't seem to update accounts in 'real time' over the weekend:( so it might have arrived even quicker and I didn't even know. I hope you receive your money superfast too:beer:
Boo to wet playtime. I know from my days volunteering or as a school governor that the children tended to get a bit hyper because they hadn't had the opportunity to run around and let off steam. I remember that the classroom windows were always steamed up on such days though:rotfl:. Better ventilation nowadays I expect. Mine was a Victorian village school but the parts I tended to be in were portakabins.
OH did buy the shower but still hasn't recovered from the trauma:eek:. Our friend the plumber couldn't come to fit it yesterday evening after all, he had an emergency call-out. He's coming tonight:j. OH will need intensive care after he's paid his bill:rotfl:0 -

Amazingly after getting blown to school we had dry playtime
although it started raining when I left at lunchtime. The children were a bit excited anyway as it was another mufti day . I enjoyed it as always.
This afternoon I want to drop off the accounts, even if they're not finished, because then we'll have a place in the queue and I can always drop off bits to add later on.
I also want to wash my interview clothes just in case I get an interview (I haven't worn them for years so they'll be a bit musty ).
Then DH needs some help with something he's working on, sigh.
I didn't sleep very well as I had too much on my mind, so I feel a bit sleepy now. Hopefully I'll catch up tonight. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

The accounts have been dropped off, massive relief :T and I've helped DH with some work.
Now I've put my interview clothes in the machine to wash :T. I'm sending a message to the universe to say that I'm ready for a job
. I hope the universe gets the message!
I also offered to help the school with an activity tomorrow afternoon after I finish my morning volunteering, so I'll see if they get back to me and want my help :A.
So lots of frogs eaten today
.
We got our first Christmas card today, some people send them early! I'm not even going to think about writing mine until I get back from my weekend away. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
