    Thank you :).

I hate the packing but I'm usually fine as soon as I drive off.

I feel a bit clingy to DH since I lost my mum and this will be my first night away from him. I may need to pack a comfort teddy :o.

  • I've done all the packing I can do tonight. My interview blouse and some other laundry is washing now so it can be drying on the clothes horses while I'm away.

I'm up to £11 on PA (once approved) and I should have £10 in Paypal from them, so that should be able to pay for some Christmas presents when I get back, along with the YG money :D.

I've got the Christmas decorations out of the void so I can put them up when I get back. I just need to hang up the laundry when it's finished. Then write a couple of Christmas cards to take with me so I can save postage and make myself a packed lunch for tomorrow :money:.

I'm tempted to make the sandwiches in the morning as I feel shattered now!

  • Hi HH

Just to add my agreement to the comments made about you. When we are low, everything is a challenge and all we hear is the horrible hateful critical voice telling us how badly we are doing.

All we can do is - do what we can manage

That will change day to day, even hour to hour depending on our personal situation.

I hope you can enjoy the trip tomorrow. Just the fact you are going for someone else's benefit really shows the person you are. I feel lucky to know you in the virtual world.

    Take care honey

  • Thank you Pauline that's a lovely thing to say :). I know my mum would have wanted me to look after stepdad and I would anyway as I'm very fond of him.

It would be a weight off your mind if you could get some tegular income courtesy of a job. When Mr SA was self employed we never knew how much was coming in from week to week. Now he's only on disability benefits the income is a lot less but at least we know what's coming in.

I hope you enjoy your weekend as much as you can xx
