DH reminded DS2 about the money towards bills today and he went and drew out £200 and gave it to DH :T. Isn't he good? It's a massive relief as now we have food money for Wednesday and I'm thinking maybe I'll get the clothes horse with my £20 PA money :T (I thought I'd have to spend it on food). Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I’m so glad about the clothes horse and DD2 paying. Today we visited the seals and walked sort of near the sea - it is way out over the Humber. The simple things in life mean a lot and I suddenly felt overwhelmed with gratefulness that we don’t live in a worn-torn or truly poverty stricken place. Sometimes I yearn for a faith but then other times I am happy to be as I am.
HH, I have been in your position and I know you will endure and come out on top. In the meantime enjoy those small pleasures like Pilates and friends.

Pilates was good but I feel worn out now! I'm really glad I went though because the teacher is lovely and I get to chat to my friend walking there and back. My Fitbit stats are 15,183 steps, 6.91 miles, 2,094 calories, 51 floors and 42 active minutes so far today, so no wonder I'm tired.
I feel a bit emotional today, I don't know why. Maybe because it was my mum's birthday recently, or the four month anniversary. I just feel like I'm missing her really badly at the moment. I've never been this long without seeing her . Or maybe it's being so short of money. So I'm glad I've had a busy day today to distract me.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
