I think because I'm reading your diary and so much has happened it just doesn't seem like that much time has gone by,of course it will feel different to you and I know it's a cliche but time does soften the blow eventually, I don't believe time makes it better but you get used to a new reality eventually which makes it easier to cope with, I have lost a child a brother and a sister and I've survived and come to terms with the losses over time xxxOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8940 -
I hope you slept ok HH , I know what you mean this week coming is the one I dread , anniversary of my brothers passing in very tragic circumstances. It's 25 years and feels like yesterday, he was my best friend . I still talk to him a lot and I am sure he visits occasionally!
On other matters , so glad you are getting your second clothes horse , it will make life much easier. As for the heating I think you have made me so mindful of using it , I think do I really feel cold or is it just a habit.
Have a good day, great day for a walk again here up North . Walking round Xmas markets will be ok in the cold. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I hope you're feeling better after the flu jab today. I agree that time does not heal, but allows you to adjust to a different life and 'cope' with the loss.
Big hugs xxSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x0 -

I didn't sleep too badly, I was very tired. I seem to feel okay today with regard to the flu jab
.
We thought we'd go to another NT Christmas Fair this morning (just to get us out of the house) and then do a bit of work on my business this afternoon. I also need to do laundry and empty all the bins (at the very least!). The weather is looking dry and sunny anyway.
We went to stepdad's house on Friday evening as he's doing something tonight, so this evening we can relax.
Have a good day everyone. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I learned an Indian proverb at school which has stuck with me ever since.
“When you were born, you cried and the World rejoiced.
Live your life so that when you die, the World cries and you rejoice”
It sounds like there are lots of special people on this diary who did just that, to have left such a void.
Love to everyone who has lost someone special XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I hope you have a good day out HH. Tomorrow we’re going for a day trip to a place called Donna Nook (google it!) to see the grey seals and their pups. It is the 9th anniversary of me quitting smoking so a date I celebrate. We will take a flask of soup and bread and apart from petrol it will be a cheap day out. Today I have realised it is 6 months since Dad passed on 18 May. Time does heal because I only clocked this when I read your diary. We will remember over Sunday lunch drinking some good red wine he left me. SF xTilly Tidying andPADing in 2024 £250.62

I hope you enjoy your day out Sally
. Donna Nook looks like an interesting place to visit. I saw seals on the Farne Islands once which was fascinating.
Sorry if I reminded you of the anniversary. I don't want to cause you to feel sad. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
