And that's how you know it's flu and not just a bad cold - classic example.

Glad you're on the mend, very soon it will be a distant memory hopefully :)

I was just about to see how you were , it will pass eventually, but you have to be patient.

You must be unwell not to be on your Saturday jaunt. Let the family take care of you x

Hi everyone and happy Saturday. I don't feel well enough for my usual Saturday ramble today :(.

But I weighed myself this morning and I've lost eight pounds in the two weeks since I caught flu! So I'm only six pounds from my target weight now :T.

That is a big silver lining. But I still can't recommend flu as a weight loss technique because it's too unpleasant.

I'm going to try and do a bit more today, so I'd like to clean the sink in the bathroom, sort out some washing and insist on making my own lunch! I'm not going to overdo it though as I still have a headache and feel light headed and very tired :(.

I'll know I'm better when I start drinking eight cups of tea per day again, it's not like me to go off caffeine.

My mum and step dad said they would pop in today with some fruit for me, which is nice of them.

I hope everyone has a good Saturday :).

You need to pace yourself, or you'll end up straight back on the sofa. Find a book and go and put your feet up for a bit. Surely someone else can clean the sink?

I've already done it Redo :o. I've cleaned the sink and sorted a pile of washing for DH to put in the machine, but I'm back on the sofa under a blanket now.

I feel so useless not being able to do anything for two weeks. DH has been doing everything with a bit of help from DS1. I just want to try and do a couple of things per day to help DH and to test out my strength. But I'll try not to overdo it.

The furry moron needs cleaning out today and I'm definitely not strong enough for that. So DH is going to do it with DS1 fetching and carrying.

DS2 has rented an Air b&b house for two nights in New Orleans and he was going to cook dinner for his girlfriend last night, I wonder how he got on .

Hi HHOD, I have been lurking on your diary periodically since posting a couple of months ago, and resurrected mine I started.
I hope you feel better soon, sounds terrible for you.
Pleased your DS's are OK, especially DS2, must be difficult but you must be proud of him too.
