At least there's something positive of you having the flu with regards to the weight loss xx

Thanks all.
I'm still feeling very fatigued with low appetite.
DS2 is upset because his American girlfriend doesn't want to marry him for a couple of years, so I'm a bit worried about him. Not that I want him to marry her .
I'm also worried that DS3 won't get a maintenance loan in September because the pension money makes our income look unnaturally high.
There's always something new to worry about. I think the flu is making me feel a bit low too
.
Sorry to moan again.

Glad to see you up and about doing very small things - hopefully you will really turn the corner this week;.
Although the maintenance grant is based on a previous years income you do have the option of asking them to recalculate it based on this years income if the year in question was high for some reason and this year wont be.
Pinot has posted on her diary this month to say she has just had confirmation that her daughter will get more of a loan as they have amended their calculation to base it on the current year rather than previous years.0 -

Thank you so much EE that gives me hope.
Our taxable income without the pension money was £14,000 and all the pension money was spent paying off our debts. So our income would normally be well under the threshold for DS3 to get a full maintenance loan.
I was worried he wouldn't be able to go to uni in September because of this.

Hi everyone
.
I managed to do a bit more today. I washed and dried some towels and emptied the dishwasher for DH. I also washed my hair.
We had a letter from Virgin saying they overcharged us when we cancelled out TV channels nearly two years ago and they are crediting our account £9.65. Well it's a lot better than nothing.
DS2 seems more cheerful today. He said he's going to a voodoo museum today and booked a swamp tour for tomorrow. He's due home on Thursday morning.
Apart from that I have done nothing and achieved nothing. My Fitbit thinks I'm deceased! Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Yes it makes a refreshing change from them raising their fees. Hair washing is very tiring but I feel better for having clean hair.
