Well done at getting the assignments done. The other assignments might actually be easier once you’ve worked with the younger age range a bit longer. So don’t be too eager to rush ahead 👍You’re over half way through now though - make the most of your last few days. 😂😂I was thinking about how you used to sort the voids out…..are they in your bedroom? You could admire your handiwork if they are 😂😂January spends - £587.585

Great to hear about an assignment done & dusted. Silver linings & all that !!
Not long to go either
Whilst Martin Luther King's 'Free at last' speech' might seem a bit OTT, you will have a newfound appreciation of the ability to make choices,
Well done to the family too for keeping things ticking over. I bet you anything you'll find some things in the wrong place - be kind to them, if so !5 -
At least you’ve been using your time productively.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Sitting out in the garden even in the winter can be pleasant with a blanket and a cup of tea

You sound so much brighter now you've been able to get outside, Hairy. I too feel so sorry for the ones who had to isolate for a full fortnight. Must have been horrendous. Not long to go now for you. I'm so glad you had no symptoms, makes the isolation seem so unfair though doesn't it, but you followed the rules regardless so all credit to you. Great to hear everyone else in the house has avoided catching it too. Let's hope we are all over the worst of it now, it seems Boris is intending to cancel ALL Covid restrictions by the end of the month. Maybe a bit premature but we all live in hope that the virus is finally in retreat.. Unless a new variant pops up.
When you mentioned about asymptomatic people passing on the virus totally unwittingly reminded me of a lady who runs nurseries that I saw on TV the other day. She was very worried about staff shortages. She said there were parents that she knew for certain had Covid yet because young children don't have to isolate they were still coming to nursery and possibly passing it on to the nursery staff. This seems bizarre. No wonder you caught it, Hairy, if that sort of thing is going on.
Well done on getting your dull assignment done and dusted. Must have been a relief. I expect your own personal experience of raising 3 children of your own will have stood you in good stead for writing about very young children even though you haven't actually had a working role with that age group.
