We’d couldn’t sort our heating out and he’s phoning a plumber today who will hopefully come tomorrow. I’m not sure if it was a manifold dh put in a while ago but sounds familiar and it looked like a thin black coaster another time he put a little pipe - thing in both to stop drips. He managed to get the fire on for me so I’ve not been cold today......then the heating came on all by itself this afternoon 🤔🤔 - no idea what’s going on with it. Dh reckons the boiler isn’t talking to the remote thermostat.......
Hope yours is sorted very quickly and cheaply for you.January spends - £587.585 -

Our plumber is still here 😱😭😳. I'm starving and I want to cook dinner 😫. Plus DS3 is still waiting for his shower 😖! I hope he finishes soon and it's not going to be too expensive. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Thanks both of you 🙂. He left at nearly 8pm. He's going to send us an invoice tomorrow. He was here for three hours and the part was £130 so it won't be less than £300 😟. At least it's stopped dripping and it's been serviced. We've just finished eating and I feel shattered 😴.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Hopefully the plumber has gone home and ds has had his shower 👍 and the bill wasn’t expensive. Dh phoned our plumber and he suggested we try various things - all of which we’ve already tried. He suggested going on line and researching pairing the boiler with the thermostat.....but we can’t do it yet because it’s working now 😡 Plumber said if we don’t have any joy to get back to him.....January spends - £587.584

I hope the plumber cost you less than £300. I had a service when I left the old house and it cost me £94 and he didn't even flush the system through...
I love that you and OH are able to have coffees in the garden now. Must be niceIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
