Another hoping you get the extra hours you need too.
That's lovely that the boy did all of his work. I am sure he would have been proud of himself for doing that today. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

I also hope you get some extra hours. Glad your day went well as well."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3

I had a fairly restful morning at home. It was forcast to rain heavily most of the day, but I missed the rain when the children were dropped off in the morning luckily, and it was dry at lunchtime although the ground was wet 🙂. I wore my brussel sprout badge today and two children commented upon it 🤣.
Afternoon in the difficult class was challenging as always, but I felt like I was coping. An educational psychologist came to study the tricky boy and watched me do phonics with him 😳. No pressure there then 😳. I wonder what he'll have to say about him! Tricky boy was quite good this afternoon apart from throwing his socks around the classroom and lying on the floor part of the time 🤣. However when I popped into after school club he was running around topless 😳 so I mentioned it to the teacher when I got back and she went down to persuade him to get dressed again 😂. Can you believe I had to get out, clean and put away twelve large PE mats again 😧. At least it's giving me a workout.
The deputy head gave me a small gift at hometime and said thank you for being flexible and a good friend 🙂. She's never even given me a Christmas card before so I feel this is significant, although I'm not sure what it signifies 🤣. Is it a guilt offering because I'm about to lose my TA cover? Or is she pleased with me and about to offer me a job? Or am I over-analysing it and she literally means what she said? I also got a present from a child in the nice class yesterday which pleased me 🙂 as I don't normally get presents due to only being the cover TA.
While I was at school DH drove DS1 to the post office and they posted the three Christmas parcels and the rainforest vouchers 🎉. I've only got three Christmas cards with cash in to post now and Christmas presents for those those who live away will have been completed, thank goodness 🎉. I still need to organise a few for people who live locally but I've got longer to do that. I've bought aunt and uncle a really nice mug each and I just need to buy a tin of fancy hot chocolate and some chocolate biscuits to go with them, but I can drop them around their house next week. I have a few presents to organise for DH and the DC but I can take care of that after I break up. It's a relief to get more organised with Christmas jobs 😁 because I feel slightly under stress until it's all been done.
I'm relaxing with the ntflx birchwood virtual fireplace again and it's making me feel warm and cosy as usual. I swear it makes me feel warmer 🤣.
I hope everyone in forumland is having a delightful day 🙂.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I think the deputy head gave you a present because you’re good at your job and she’s pleased with you. It’s obvious from your posts you’re great with the children and they like you. They won’t want to lose you.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7
