Sun_Addict said:The badges are lovely 😊 I buy my coffee pods from Amazon now as they work out much cheaper than the shops, my last lot worked out at £3.20 a pack, might be worth a look.
I'll have to check out the rainforest place.

Sorry your feet are aching, hopefully they'll start to ease and will be ok by now.
That saving in Mr M is great. I don't have one that near to me. X

I braved the shops this morning to do some Christmas shopping. My plan to go early and do a quick hit and run was foiled by the fact that the shops didn't open until late 🙄. MnS opened at 10.30am but Ftfce and Nxt didn't open until 11am so I had to queue up for ages waiting for them to open. They normally open at 9am on a Sunday. However I was able to buy several presents, eventually. Four lots to post and some for local family. By the time I left the shops were getting very busy and I didn't see many people social distancing. I kept stopping and letting people go in front of me as they were getting too close behind me 🙄. I do wonder what goes on in their heads.
When I got home I wrapped and packaged three parcels to post and two presents to be handed to local family. Then I put up some ribbons along the picture rail to hang our Christmas cards to free up space on our surfaces. By the time I'd had lunch and done all of that it was 3pm. Most of the day has gone and I feel exhausted 😬. So I'm going to rest for the rest of the day.
However I do feel a bit more organised for Christmas now, even if I don't feel very rested. The weather is wet, rainy and a bit grim but it's cheerful indoors with the fairy lights on 🎄🎅. Perhaps we'd better keep them up until the Spring 🤔. We're watching It's a Wonderful Life at the moment, I got it very cheaply in a charity shop last year and it's a special collectors edition with a black and white version, a colour version, a poster and some postcards, so it was a bit of a bargain.
I do wonder what will happen after all the Christmas get togethers and whether we'll have a third wave of the virus. It's a bit concering but all I can try to do is to protect myself and my family by being careful 😞.
I hope everyone is having a magnificent day 🙂.

Glad you managed to get a little more organised for Christmas. I bought a present at IKEA...I love their soft toys so I bought a lovely soft dinosaur for my best friends grandson. I couldn’t resist 🎄🤪😀
Enjoy watching It’s a Wonderful Life 👍January spends - £587.585 -
Well done on getting organised for Christmas. I'd leave all the lights up til Spring if it was down to me. I'd take the tree and other decorations down. I think the lights add a nice bit of cheer."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I keep fairy lights up all year round and the twig tree. As long as they don’t look obviously Christmassy what does it matter.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

I keep coloured fairy lights along my fence all year round. The only reason we took them down this year was because we had new fences last summer. We take the Christmas shaped ones down of course.January spends - £587.585

I am definitely tempted to keep the lights up until the spring as it's been such a difficult year. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
