I'm not surprised you're tired, I guess some children are just challenging and somehow you have to cope. Your litany of problems reminded me of the time DD1 said her primary teacher (male) had coped with one child with a streaming nose & no tissues, one who wet herself and another who was sick - all in the same lesson !
We went to DD2 and DGS this afternoon for an 'unboxing' party, joint DGS and DSIL. We open all the parcels via Zoom. Fortunately we'd chosen to visit rather than host as the forecast was not good, and after a bit the rain came down in torrents, bouncing off DD2's awning and cascading down the edge. Certainly lent an air of novelty to the birthday celebrations !!! Still - there was chocolate cake with only the occasional drip on it !
Getting your ironing & masks ready will make you feel very organised for the week after next, it's a lovely feeling when you can get a bit ahead.

You sound like you've had a tough working week Hairy. But you're quite right to relax now and put your feet up. And think of the extra dosh you've earned. 😀
I think it's a very good idea to buy some summer clothes now if they're cheap and you know you're going to wear them in due course. Very MSE! And don't feel guilty - you've worked hard for it!Talking about visiting places that you've read about in your novels - you mentioned Andrea Camilleri so I'm presuming you watch Inspector Montalbano - I read that his house featured in the series can be rented as a holiday let - I bet there's loads of interest there!😀Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Enjoy half term....everyone I’ve spoken to from work seems more tired than usual this half term. I think it’s the stresses associated with bubbles and getting the children back on track after being off for so long. One of our bubbles have to isolate for 14 days.....the staff are all getting tested and they’re not impressed it’s happened at half term 😳

Thanks everyone 🙂. I haven't done much this weekend but I still feel tired. I think I'm getting old 😕.
I did two loads of washing today and emptied all the bins. DH and I had coffee in the garden twice ☕ to make the most of the dry and sunnyish weather (we woke up to heavy rain), I spoke to my sister on the phone for an hour and a half and my aunt on the phone for twenty minutes, and spent the rest of the time reading my book 📚.
We've booked to go to a NT place tomorrow for an autumn walk 🍁🍂so I hope the weather won't be too rainy. It's one I haven't been to since the children were small and I really don't remember it at all so I'm looking forward to going. I've been going between school and home like a yoyo for the past six weeks and I really want to go somewhere different.
I hope everyone had had a good weekend 🙂.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
