And I also have found with certain jobs that visualising either the end product or the reward (if they're different) is helpful.
Have a good weekend xx. Yes I must visualise us having more money so that we can have a lovely family Christmas and maybe the rest of the fence done.

It sounds as if life is busy atm. Think of payday and remember if the children give you a hard time it isn’t aimed at you but something that has put their world out of sorts.Have a relaxing weekend 🤞January spends - £587.587

. That's a good way of looking at it. And I'm still enjoying the work, I'm just exhausted.

Great news about the extra hours. Hope you are having a lovely relaxing weekend x"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee6

Thanks everyone 🙂. I've been quite lazy this weekend and haven't left the house apart from to go in the garden 🌿 (does that count?). I've washed and ironed my work clothes and emptied a few bins, but apart from that I've watched a bit of telly and read a lot.
I've finished the final Wexford book in the series by Ruth Rendell and feel quite sad that she won't be able to write any more books 😏. I feel like I know the characters really well after reading the entire series in order and now I won't know what happens to them. However I've started reading the DCI Banks series by Peter Robinson which is a long series. I've read most of them before but will enjoy reading them again. The first one is called Gallows View and is a good one, but then they all are 📚.
DH and I had coffee ☕ in the garden today and yesterday and it was warm, sheltered and very quiet, an advantage of sitting out in October. I did a bit of deadheading and DH did a bit of weeding in the borders. We've got three roses flowering and one in bud, our geraniums are still flowering and so are the primulas and fuscia. The cylamen are also starting to flower and they normally put on a good display all autumn. At half term I want to buy some autumn flowers though to boost the colour in the garden 🌹🌻🌺🌼🌷.
I feel much more rested and relaxed than I did on Friday evening 🙂. Although I didn't sleep well last night as my head was full of my new class and all the happenings, however I'm always like that when I'm in a new class as my mind is full of new impressions and my brain has to process it all. Working with different children and a different teacher in a different classroom is always a bit challenging, as teachers all have their own way of doing things, the classroom lay out is different and you have to get used to thirty new child personalites and work out the best way to handle them. I'm looking forward to getting stuck in tomorrow though because although it's challenging it's also very satisfying 🙂.
I hope everyone has had a good weekend. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
