I'm feeling pleased this morning 🙂. I decided to walk to Mr M to combine my daily exercise 🚶♀️with buying some bits we need. We have a Mr T click and collect to pick up tomorrow, but the eighty item limit is a nuisance as we are a big household and we keep going over the limit and having to delete items. We needed some non-food items like bin liners, baby wipes, cleaning sponges, deodorant, etc, and I thought if I get them from Mr M we can save the click and collect for food items. It's a lovely sunny day 🌞 so I enjoyed the walk and there was no queue so I walked straight in. I bought some really useful items including two big bottles of hand sanitiser 😀 (the first I've found since lockdown started and I'll need it when I'm back at school every day!), disinfectant cleaning spray, bin liners, germolene, deodorants, ibuprofen, soap, baby wipes, scouring sponges, margarine and cucumber. I was very pleased with this haul and it wasn't too heavy to carry home. That would have used up a lot of items out of our eighty item limit at Mr T so now we'll be able to get more food items.
On the way home I also photographed a fence I liked the look of 📷. I can imagine a similar one going along the top of our wall so I can show the photos to our builder when we're in a position to get the work done.
My sister has also given me the money back for our three flights to Scotland as we won't be able to go in July due to the lockdown and BIL's cancer 😥. She booked the flights and I gave her the money, so she's going to claim the money back for our flights. Getting £174 back into my account is very useful right now.
My plans for the rest of the day are to wash some towels and paint the wall behind the bins, so with that in mind I shall go and look for paint in the shed.
Have a good Monday everyone 🙂.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Sounds like a very successful shopping trip. Good news on get your flight money back, it's obviously a shame you won't be able to go but the money will come in handy right now. Well done on DH's lockdown haircut, Mr SA hardly has any hair so he cuts it himself with buzz clippers anyway. I had a go at my fringe, just trimmed the ends, the rest can wait, it's already past my shoulders a couple more inches won't make much difference 😀I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Well I've finished painting the wall behind the kitchen bins and it looks completely transformed so I'm very pleased with it 😀. It's been bugging me for ages as it was all stained and had tea drips down the wall, etc, from people missing the bin 😡. I had to do three coats to completely hide the stains (which would not wash off because I tried that of course) It's the kind of job you don't want to give up a weekend for, but I'm really pleased with how it looks now. I've painted it in a silk paint so it will be easier to keep clean too 🙂, as matt paint just washes off if I try to wipe it down. DH said to leave the paint out in case he gets inspired to touch up a few more areas in the kitchen at odd moments.
I've also emptied our own small wheelie bin which had three rubbish bags in and have put them into the main bins to be collected.
I've got jobs lined up for the rest of my week off. Tomorrow and Wednesday I'm going to do my eighth assignment, then on Thursday and Friday I'm going to sand and paint the garden bench with fresh wood stain. My mum gave us the bench so it's very precious to me and I don't want it to get ruined. It's a lovely bench; it has two seats with a little table inbetween for drinks and a hole for an umbrella (although we don't use the umbrella because the bench is up against a wall).
It's lovely to have time to get so many jobs done 😁.

That sounds a lovely bench, HH, I've always wanted one like that. Must be special for you too, having such happy memories of your Mum.
Congratulations on your shopping haul, especially the hand sanitiser.. I've a Morrisons delivery booked for Thursday but there's no hand sanitiser available. Like you, I haven't been able to find any for ages.
As for straight hair, I'm not sure it is easier to manage. Mine is really straight and I'd give anything for a bit of a wave in it. It's thick but fine too which means it's flyaway. It's been a real pain for most of my adult life!.. It does grow quickly though and is now much longer than I like. I always had long hair until it started going grey and now I feel a shorter length is more suitable for my age. It easily looks scarecrowish though, as it is now. At least I never needed to be faffing about with hair straighteners like some of my friends and work colleagues. They seemed to spend ages on their hair just to get it straight. I spent ages getting mine to look how their was before they started straightening LOL.

I couldn't be bothered to faff about with straightening my hair anyway so I suppose I'm lucky that I can wash it and leave it, but it does rely upon a good hair cut unfortunately. I'm lucky that my hair hasn't got any noticeable grey yet so I don't have to worry about colouring it.
