I am not a jigsaw fan.I get too stressed. A bit like the adult colouring in. I found that so stressful.I recently bought my maw a 1000
piece jigsaw & she is doing about half an hour a day.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. I tried a jigsaw at the beginning of lockdown. I did about 3/4 and then just got bored and fed up of it on the carpet in the way of everything so put it all back. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

I used to like jigsaws as a child but haven't done one for years. I haven't bought any hobby equipment for lock down as I didn't want to spend the money, but you can get roll up boards for jigsaws which would stop them taking up space and getting in the way. I did some colouring for a school project but I'm not sure I enjoyed it enough to want to do it for pleasure.
I've been occupying myself in lockdown by working my way through my enormous library of books, spring cleaning and gardening. I might have started a jigsaw if I had one, but I don't want to spend money. I'm glad I have so many books as I probably have several years worth of reading material (mind you I can read an Agatha Christie book in a day!).Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

My plans for today are put a wash on and dry it in the garden, paint the kitchen wall behind the bins as it's stained (the bins live inside the chimney breast) if I can find the masking tape, and clean the bathroom.
It's a cloudy day but I think the sun is trying to come out from behind a cloud.

Just wondering why you need to do jobs like painting inside walls and the sanding and painting of the bench that you mentioned the other day. Presumably a lot of your DH and son's business work has dried up if they are having to claim the Government grant for loss of earnings and they have plenty of time on their hands. Being at home all day and unable to get out much can't they turn their hand to jobs like that? Would spare you a bit, especially as you are having to go out to work and shop plus do all the washing, cleaning etc. I know you'll say you like to keep busy but sometimes it seems as if the whole burden of the household falls on you. Sorry if you think I'm poking my nose in, I just feel a bit sorry for you sometimes xxx5

I've just done a lockdown haircut on DH with the clippers ✂️ 😱 . He asked me to do it and I warned him I wouldn't be answerable for the consequences 🤣 but he said it will grow back. Anyway it doesn't look too bad and DH seems pleased with it 🙂.
I'm going to have to get good at cutting DH's hair as it will be a long time before he can risk going back to the barber because of him being in a high risk group.
DH is going to have a go at DS1's hair soon as his hair is getting very long. DS2 copes by shaving his head and then letting it grow again as he likes it quite short anyway.
I'm going to be a bit lazy and leave the painting until tomorrow, but I do want to clean the bath today as I hate it when that looks grubby. The sun has come out and my washing is drying beautifully in the garden 🌞 .
I hope everyone is having a good Sunday 🙂.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
