You've had a really productive day! That's loads done, not little!
I really hope they don't ban exercise, they should fine the ones that aren't complying rather than punishing the rest of us in my opinion."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3 -

We lost our Mr T delivery slot through our own sillyness 😥. We'd hadn't got £40 of items in the basket so it expired after 24 hours
. Our own fault so we'll know better next time.
Anyway, we're running row on milk, bread, eggs and bananas, so we decided to go to Mr M which is quite close to us. We got up at 7am and got there by 8.15am and there was no queue at all. By the time I came out at 9.30am there was quite a long queue outside! I got bread, milk, eggs, porridge oats, bananas, a six pack of baked beans, kefir, frozen wonky berries, Red Leicester and Cheddar cheese, margarine, sliced chicken, cucumber, kiwis and six easter eggs. I also picked up 4 ranunculus plants for £2, a phlox plant for £1 and an aubretia plant for £1 to go in my garden pots 🥀🌻🌺 .
We got the bananas for free because they wouldn't weigh properly so the assistant said they wouldn't charge for them 🎉. Then I put a £20 note in the self service slot and it kept popping out again. I tried a few times and eventually it popped out of a different slot. At that point I gave up and did part cash and part debit card. When I got home I discovered I had two £20 notes 🎉. So I got free bananas and a free £20 from Mr M. I won't complain about that 😂😁🤣.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

You all seem to have had very busy and productive times since i was here last. I think the sunshine always gives people a bit of ooomph, even though we can't really go far in it.
My Monday has been horrendous so far after starting off so well. I planned to get 2 loads of washing fdone irst thing, starting at 6) to take advantage of the drying weather. When I went into the utility room to unload the machine there was water lapping over the top of my feet. Something had obviously become dislodged and water from the machine had spilled out down the back of the machine and run everywhere. Looks like a full machine's worth. We didn't know what had caused it at first as we couldn't see behind the machine and to add insult to injury the tumble dryer is stacked on top of the washing machine. We had to lift that down before we could pull the WM out. It wasn't anything to do with the machine's own pipework, the pipe that goes through the wall to the drain seems to have moved. No idea why, we never touched it for years. DH has just finished fixing it. He had some spare drainpipe and after a lot of sawing and barking instructions at me to hold things in place he got it sorted.. I've mopped up as much as I can but water has gone under all the cabinets, freezer etc which I keep in there, so I've put the dehumidifier on to make sure anything unseen evaporates. Don't think it's an insurance claim option as nothing's really been ruined and we have a big excess on the policy so wouldn't get much anyway. Added to that the premiums would doubtless go up next time.
On the plus side I managed to get a Morrisons delivery for 26th April. I felt like doing cartwheels (I wish I still could LOL) when I nabbed it. Nothing doing on the other supermarket websites so I was so ridiculously pleased to get this one. Even though it's 3 weeks away it made up for the flood fiasco. Shame about your Tesco delivery, HHOD, but in the circumstances it was probably all for the best. No queues and free food, can't be bad. I love Morrisons, some of their own brand stuff is excellent.
Have a lovely day, everyone.7
