It it sounds as if you’ve had a very productive day in the garden. It’s been cloudy and quite cold here most of the day so I’ve been a tad disappointed as was expecting a bit of sunshine.
I went around to Aldi and again it had queues around the shop so I went over to Morrison’s , which also had a big queue but is a bigger shop with more capacity so the queue moved quite quickly. I managed to spend a fortune 😳 more than I’ve spent in a long time but I treated my gks to a pair of pjs. I bought a big bag of rice - it’s the first time I’ve seen rice for a long time (I always buy the big bag as it lasts ages and works out much cheaper in the long run...I was running very low) I got some bargains too...👍😀
Hope you’re not aching tomorrow after your gardening - enjoy the sunshine and hope it puts an appearance near me too ☀️
Thanks Milann :). I've been spending a lot on food lately too but we've been stocking up a little bit as we don't feel we can afford to run out of anything. I hope you get sunnier weather tomorrow :).

I know FB sometimes gets rather a bad press, but I've found it wonderful for keeping in touch with family and friends, including more distant friends in whom I still take an interest, but we wouldn't be likely to phone each other for a chat. Because you decide who you want to be FB friends with, you don't get stuff from people you don't know. However, you DO get advertising - bit like commercial TV, you put up with the ads to get free programmes.
Me being me - I get and share a lot of cat videos (adore cats but never been allowed any), but that isn't compulsory !!!

I agree about the social interraction. Although DH seems perfectly content to go ages without talking to anyone except me, I really need lots of people to interract with, which is why I'm contacting some people on the day I'd normally see them to give a bit of structure to an otherwise completely unstructured week.
In fact, I woke up ~3am the other night, and couldn't for the life of me work out what day of the week it was !!!

My saddlesores are improving, so I'm hoping to increase the time on the bike a bit as it becomes more comfortable. And I've finished my first quarantine jigsaw - yay !

It sounds like your garden is getting ITS best workout for a good while. The weather is supposed to be getting a lot warmer, so it will be a real pleasure to be out in the garden.
I've washed loads of things that normally only get washed once or twice a year, taking advantage of dry sunny conditions. DH has raked a load of moss off our front garden, and used it to line an old trolley (old story), and then added our own compost to make a brilliant new growing container. I think it's going to be carrots, but I'm not sure.
We're all finding a lot of time for gardening any way, so our gardens should look splendid soon :). That sounds like an ingenious use of an old trolley. Good luck with your cycling targets and I hope you get less sore. Talking to people on the phone, by message, or by video chat is a good way to help us combat isolation :).

I've been getting through some indoor chores today. I've put a wash on and it's drying in the garden, I've changed our bed and put bedding on to wash, I've cleaned the cooker and the microwave, I've folded up yesterday's clean washing and put it away, I've optimistically packed away the wool blanket we use on our bed when it's cold at night and I've sorted out a rubbish bag DS2 left in the kitchen and put it in the wheelie bins outside. I've also hand washed some delicate mugs and glasses that won't go in the dishwasher.

That doesn't sound much when I list it but it seems to have taken me all day! It's a beautiful sunny day ☀️ but I'm happy to stay in today as I was out a lot yesterday. I've got lots of windows open to air the house so I'm enjoying the fresh air coming in 🙂.

Due to selfish idiots not social distancing in parks and beauty spots yesterday, the government are threatening to ban exercise outdoors 🤬. Whilst I really hope that this doesn't happen, I think it will happen at some point 😥. So because of this I've ordered three cheap aerobics dvds from the rainforest people . I only have yoga dvds 🧘‍♀️ and if I can't go for walks I'll need something a bit more energetic to keep me fit 🤸‍♀️. I know you can get stuff online but the internet can be flaky and I've had these same three dvds in the past and enjoyed using them. Foolishly I de-cluttered them to a charity shop as I prefer walking 🙄, but as I anticipate outdoor exercise may be banned soon, I thought I'd order them before everyone else gets the same idea and the price goes up.

I feel very sorry for people that don't have gardens if outdoor exercise is banned and also for dogs who can't really do exercise dvds very easily to keep fit 😥.

I hope everyone is having a good and safe day 🙂.

I saw that too. Maybe they will still allow dog walks but not just people.
I just wish people would listen. x
