HH hope you had a lovely lunch with step dad and wife. Sorry to hear you didn't make it out last night , but am sure there will be other times.I think this virus is sending people into a panic , I think as long as you follow the recommended guidelines hand washing etc you just have to take a day at a time.It is worrying for the older folk and people with the under lying health conditions. I think it will be around for a while though. How is DS in London now ? Get better soon HH xLife is an adventure, never stop exploring.5

HHOD, if you are on council 'green book' terms for your contracted lunch working hours then you will get paid if the school is closed. You wouldn't get overtime though, so the TA stuff if it isn't a contract. Same as snow days, etc.

@teafor2 @Sun_Addict Thanks both of you
. Luckily DH is self isolating too as he works from home
. I definitely think we should try not to get things out of perspective. Most people will either not catch it at all or will have mild symptoms and then recover.

Lunch at stepdad's was fine. The food was good and the company pleasant, but it still feels strange without my lovely Mum there.
School is the usual barely controlled chaos 🤣 Yesterday the TA was still off so I was in a different class again. Today we found out she'll be off for two weeks, but they've found a new solution so back to normal for me. But then my teacher went home at breaktime as she felt ill so they had to find cover for her! They're dropping like flies 😱. Not from coronavirus though, just stress and tummy bugs! It's been lightly raining all day but at least the children got to play outside. I am longing for a bit of sunshine though as I'm fed up with dampness and grey skies 😥
My main coronavirus worry is if the school closes, or if they force me to self-isolate every time I catch a cold (which is about once a month at the moment!) because all my TA cover is overtime so I would only get my MTA money. As DH is barely earning anything at the moment I don't know how we would pay our bills if I can't carry on with this cover. I know the cover is temporary anyway, but we do need the money at the moment.
Anyway I must try not to worry as worrying does no good to anyone 🤔.
Our Mr T order came yesterday and there was no pasta delivered which I kind of expected. We didn't order toilet roll because they only had smaller packs which were more expensive. I need to source some cheap toilet roll before too long! I managed to get some cheap ibuprofen at the C00p though.
I've had a headache all morning so I hope it will go now I'm relaxing. My cold is taking it's normal course so I'm coping, just feeling tired and doing a lot of nose blowing.
I hope everyone is having a good Tuesday.
