  • Please try not to stress Hairy. He’ll be home soon - and the trip has probably helped his confidence in lots of ways. I hope the reason he went out is not going to turn problematic - you did originally refer to a business opportunity for him didn’t you?

    Thank you SSG.

It turns out it was more of an emotional reason for him going, but as long as he gets home safely we can deal with it :o.

  • I hope the shower gets sorted soon! The whole sink and jug thing is grim, especially if you have a bad back.
  • Hope you get the shower sorted soon!

Sounds like a busy day, have a good one :D x

  • Thanks SSG, redo and Wannabe :).

Well DS3's black shirts were returned and another (more expensive ) one bought. I got the envelopes to go with the gift vouchers and collected DS1's prescriptions. That was the morning gone .

Since then I've done a YG survey, cashed out £11.60 from PA and got a 50p bonus for a survey I did on Friday :T.

I've washed lots of laundry, including the bath mats as our builder is (hopefully) coming tomorrow to diagnose the shower; I just hope it's not terminal :o.

We've heard from DS2 who now says he wants to move to America :eek::eek:.

It's only Monday and I need another weekend :(.

Was hoping that your DS was not going to message to say that he wanted to move to America
Is there a 'love' interest involved?

  • DH has been vacuuming because our builder is hopefully coming tomorrow, so that's one good thing to come of it. DS3 went to the sports centre to have a shower before his waiter try out. It cost £1.60 so over time it will be cheaper to get the shower fixed .

I've also washed my hoody because I got paint on it yesterday. DH has been painting the door frames and skirting boards in the hall and try as I might to avoid it, I managed to brush against it .

White paint on a black hoody is not a good look :(. Unfortunately the paint is still there despite rubbing it with Vanish, so I'm going to try and brush it off with a nail brush when it's dry.

Now I've cooked dinner, cleaned up in the kitchen, put the bath mats down again and hung up the other laundry, I'm sitting down for a rest! I've done 12,253 steps today and the day's not over yet :o

  • My Fitbit is pleased with me anyway because I've done 12,445 steps today, 12,643 yesterday and 12, 797 the day before. No wonder I feel tired!
