Glad you had a lovely day. Good idea re the takeaway, it's not as if you get one regularly so makes sense not to cook if you both feel rubbish. Enjoy :)

    Thanks SA :).

Oooh, fancy that nice bauble being reduced today, HHoD. I bet you are so pleased you didn't cave in & pay full price!

It was very satisfying getting it half price because I waited :D. It's a risk but I really didn't want to spend a fiver on it.

Glad you're feeling better and you were able to get out to visit the NT place. Enjoy your take-away, if you don't do it very often then it really is a nice treat for NY Eve. Wishing you and all the family a Happy New Year. Hope it's a good one for all of you. xx
  • Pleased to hear your feeling better and that you got to go to the NT place today. The bauble will be in use every year so well worth the spends .

Happy New Year to you and the family, enjoy your takeaway x

Thank you both :). I could only eat about a quarter of the takeaway before my tummy felt queasy. But it's nice to be with family and we're watching a Victorian murder mystery :).

  • So glad you were feeling well enough to go out, and what a sensible and relaxing way to enjoy NYE with a takeaway.
I also got some half-price Xmas goodies at a local garden centre, including some fabulous Xmassy chocs for a friend's birthday, and little Xmas cards for my Scrabble club friends.

My New Year resolution is the same each year - 'Do not procrastinate'. All that can be said about it is that I do try, but every single failing of mine can be encapsulated in that one admonition to self !

Wishing you, HH, a very Happy New Year, If you look back at your achievements over 2019, they are many and various - you should be proud of yourself, we all are of you !!
