I'm back
. As I predicted it was wet playtime, but the lovely teacher said the children had been watching a Christmas film and would I like her to leave it running. What a superstar! So I said yes please and she told me to take it easy for half an hour
. She knows I haven't been well so I though that was very nice of her. I did get several children asking if they could go to the toilet, could they get a drink, they couldn't get the lid off their water bottle, etc, and I had to shush them a few times when the film got exciting, but generally speaking it was a very restful half hour
. The dining room was the usual mayhem with a mystery blue liquid on the floor  which we had to mop up. But after lunch it was raining very lightly so we were able to stay outside in the playground. I dished out my tubs of chocolates to the three classes and the children and teachers seemed pleased
.
Now I just need to survive going out tonight. It's a week tomorrow since I started to feel ill so I'm hoping that I may feel better tomorrow as most of my colds seem to follow a pattern of me feeling grotty for seven days and then just feeling tired for another week.
I hope everyone is having a good Thursday.

Am intrigued by the mystery blue liquid !
I bet your chocolates were very popular.
Hope you were able to enjoy your meal and have a better day tomorrow. It's no joke doing such an active job when you're feeling grotty, but at least it's the last day.0 -
