Just catching up with your diary and can only echo everyone in that who knows what the job situation will be like at the school by the time you qualify. Just carry on with your good work there.
I'm sorry you've been feeling so down, but can understand why.
I hope your meal with your aunt and uncle last night has cheered you up. And you've got to feel positive about the fact that your decluttering has enabled you to invite them over as the kitchen is now sorted. The decluttering is opening up once closed avenues for you!:)Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Thank you everyone
.
I did enjoy the meal with aunt and uncle. DH cooked a lovely mexican meal and we enjoyed talking to them and we looked at some old photos. Part of my motivation in de-cluttering was to be able to invite people around, so you're right SSG that it is now possible.
Unfortunately I woke up with a sore throat on Friday morning and this kept me awake on Friday night so I felt tired and under the weather on Saturday. However I met stepdad for coffee and then did a bit of shopping. Then I came home and apart from a bit of laundry I mainly watched telly and read.
Today DH and I nipped into town and bought some matching placemats and coasters for the table and had coffee together which was nice. Apart from that it was more laundry and then watching telly as I'm still feeling the effects of my cold. DH ironed two pairs of work trousers for me which was really helpful of him
.
My cold is feeling a bit better now so I think I'll be all right to do my volunteering and job tomorrow, but I'm probably going to miss Pilates again as I think that will tire me out too much. Never mind it can't be helped.
It's been a warm, sunny weekend and part of me felt like we should be at a NT place or the beach, but DH was tired and I had my cold. At least I went into town both days and wasn't indoors all weekend.
We asked our builder to book us in to get a fence installed along our back wall so I hope he can find a date to do that soon. We can't afford the sides so will have to save up and get those done separately.
I still feel a bit down, but I'm trying to think positively and I hope I'll feel more cheerful soon. I hope everyone has had a good weekend.

I know you still feel low but your achievement in getting your house to the state where you can have guests over is brilliant and has inspired me as. I hope to be able to do the same when the bathroom is done. Have a good day at work.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Morning HHD
Sorry to read you've been feeling down. I agree with what everybody else has said about the TA situation, you never know what's around the corner.
At the school I used to work at all the TA's were informed last year that their hours were being cut so several moved on to other jobs which means there have been vacancies to fill. On top of that most were qualified at level 3 but the school was not willing/could not afford to pay that rate so that which meant a couple of others left. The ones who stayed obviously took a cut in hours and a cut in pay.
Ironically, some have had their hours upped again as it became obvious pretty quickly the cuts were too severe. It's all a mess really and I don't expect it's the only school going through it. A lot can change over a year so I wouldn't feel too down about it.
Have a lovely day. xx0 -

Thank you DIA. Yes the house is looking a lot better; a combination of de-cluttering, a new kitchen floor and some new (to us) furniture from my Mum's house. You are making amazing progress on your house

Thank you TF2. I didn't even know TAs got paid more if they had their level 3. There's so much I don't know
. That does sound a mess at your old school, but I guess you're right a lot can change in a year.
