  • Hi all

In sainsbury's today I noticed some small kilner jars of rock salt and crushed pepper, with tiny wooden scoops attached. They were £5 each and only about the size of those little chutneys and stuff you get. Anyway, I thought they were nice as I love to use loads of pepper in my cooking and get tired from twisting the pepper grinder for 15 mins over the pan haha.

These would be so simple to make, but in a pair - salt and pepper - would make a nice little pressie for the chef in your life. Also flavoured salts by putting chili flakes or lemon rind in, or garlic might be nice.

But where can I find a teeny tiny wooden scoop?!
  • Hi everyone. After looking through the Gifts in jar section I decided to pickle some bums and thought I would post the pics of my first attempt.

As well as taking up your suggestions for Beach and Smelly Bums I am also going to do "Boney Bums" placing some tiny puppy bones in (treat ones that is ;) )

Another is to place fake grass in with them, like the needles from an artificial Christmas tree and labeling it

    What do you think?

    Hi all!!

CandyB101, that Pelican Bay site is fab!!

Piefacerecords, I'm not too sure about sizes, but these wooden scoops are cute, cant find p&p price tho.
Found these and these on ebay.

If you do a search for bath salt scoops you may find some..

I use scoops like these for my jars of bath salts, they are very cute!

I've got mine from ebay and a cook shop locally (local cook shop was much cheaper!).
