Wow Polly, they look fantastic :T
Love the boney bum idea, might just pinch that idea if OK with you.
Pets at Home do a packet of tiny bones that would be ideal. Jar label could read "you always wanted a boney bum!"

Julian Graves have plastic jars in three sizes: 300ml--59p; 500ml--69p; 1lt--99p
& spice jars 230ml--69p; 330ml--79p. All are clear plastic jars with a lovely green lid. HTH.
Saw pickling spice in there too but didn't make a note of the price, sorry.Full time Carer for Mum; harassed mother of three;loving & loved by two 4-legged babies.

Can anyone help me - I have washed out a douwe egberts (sp?) coffee jar and the lid has a rubber seal thingy and there is water in the seal - any ideas how I can get it out?
Thanks x

I have had it sat in a cup of rice but that didn't work.:heart2:Mum to my little Daisy 3 and Archie 1.:heart2:0 -
Alison, the plastic cover on the jar lid should come off; they usually do. Just prise it off with a teaspoon or similar...watch the fingers!

I have tried to prise it off but I can't seem to do it. I think its glued - has it worked for you?
Thanks Alison x:heart2:Mum to my little Daisy 3 and Archie 1.:heart2:0 -
you can put a teaspoon in-between the seal and the jar and move it as if it were a screwdriver - the seal should pop off. You can tell that it's not watertight as you already have water in it, probably when washing the lid0

Are there any recipe for the mixes in a jar for cakes/muffins that you just add eggs and milk to and are quite easy? I would like to do ones for my mum but I want something that you just tip the mix into a bowl, add a couple of things (like milk and eggs) and put in a tin as quickly and easy as possible.Kondo'ed 76 items from wardrobe, 4 carrier bags of books0
