Caught speeding on same journey 10 minutes apart

Hi
I hope someone can help. I have received 2 speeding tickets , the first was 60mph in a 40. The second was 8 minutes later just where i entered the outskirts of Leicester and was caught doing 37mph in a 30mph zone. Do you think the police would consider this as one offence?
I have just sent off the requests for driver information. Have no points currently but did a speed awareness course about 2 months ago.
Many thanks
Tim
As others have said, you've only recently had a friendly warning in the shape of an awareness course. How many more times will you speed before it becomes so expensive that you take notice? Nobody's a perfect driver all the time but being caught three times in a few months suggests you're pretty careless/reckless.0 -

60 in a 40 limit is now 4 to 6 points

Not without a trip to court it won't. FPN's are unchanged.0

I remember reading something along the lines of "It is now theoretically possible to lose your licence in one trip if you pass enough speed cameras while speeding"
I think it was in "Jalopy" magazine in the early 90s when the cameras were first coming in.
The lesson to be learned is "Don't speed"
That's the only way these days.0 -
You are a habitual lawbreaker who does not learn a lesson. You really need to be banned from driving to bring the lesson home to you. I have been almost as guilty, having been caught twice, but a long time ago and at separate times. I learned that lesson and it cost me a lot of money.I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.

You should have learnt from the first speeding ticket. Instead you've received 3 NIPs in 2 months. You're now a heart beat away from losing your license.0
