Please try not to be so anxious. It's a simple civil matter for now

You need to, guess what, go back to the newbies thread and read post two. All of it. This takes you to the very first step - acknowledging the claim. You MUST DO THIS TODAY, online. Follow the instructions exactly.

Then you need to start your defence. Part of which will be they failed to follow the PAP for debt claims.

Thank you very much. I will take a look again and grab what i can. You all have been very helpful. Wish they would just give up already.

You respond to the Claim Form as detailed in post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread.

You will see in there that the first thing to do is Acknowledge Service.
There is a detailed pictorial Dropbox link showing you exactly how to do that.

I am so overwhelmed at the newbies thread #2 for claims.

Struggling to find the right words to say in my defence.

Will this go to an actual court if i send a defence response? (Sorry if i am being annoying, just thought this was given up on since its been 6 months since i responded to them).

After you submit you defence there are 2 outcomes:

    1) The claimant decides to continue the claim and pays the hearing fee and this progresses to a court hearing

    2) The claimant decides your defence is a winner for you, does not wish to continue, so the matter is closed and no further action taken (assuming you did not put in a counter claim)

Please confirm that you have done the Acknowledgement of Service.

As the Date of Issue on your Claim Form is 11th June 2018, once you have done the Acknowledgement of Service you have until 4pm on Monday 16th July 2018 to file your Defence.

    Loads of time. Don't panic.

Struggling to find the right words to say in my defence.
But you need to do the AOS first.

Why not just search the forum for Gladstones UKCPM defence or simply read ALL THE OTHER UKCPM CLAIMS from this month already replied to?

Please, please get off this tiny thread of yours and open your eyes and read the other UKCPM threads on this forum... The past twenty pages are choc-a-bloc with UKCPM claims from 11/12th June but you appear not to have even noticed and are sitting on your own thread missing out on reading all those who have already just written their defences!

So frustrating that people seem to just sit crying alone on their own threads when the info you want is a click away.
Will this go to an actual court if i send a defence response?
In the end, yes, to your local county Court, which town is that court in? Some (Manchester, Skipton) are GREAT! Hope your local court is not Poole.

Just repeating this link to show what this is about:

Please come back after reading the past 20 pages on this forum, clicking on EVERY UKCPM claim thread you find, an d learning from their defence drafts. Then show yours here.

You won't get much more advice until you do the 2 simple steps:

    1. AOS online

    then

    2. show us your defence draft like everyone else does with a bog standard UKCPM claim
