I will also put a box outside the bottle recycling and a sign to see what gets put in - might do it over a weekend.
I have also asked colleagues to keep some for me with the promise of some of the produce...

will brave asking the neighbours for any they where going to recycle as tomorrow is rubbish day

Sorry I havent read through the whole thread but just wanted to say that my MIL makes LOADS of jams and she finds the cheapest place to get glass jars is to buy the value Lemon Curd from Tesco's which is 22p a jar! She then just flushes it down the waste disposal!
