Whenever people start posting on threads saying things like "Has anyone received any payments from [unregulated investment]..." you can pretty much guarantee that the answer is going to be "no" and stay "no".

If Damastor is still reading, then if NPD are genuinely offering 125% of your investment back you should bite their arm off, then bite the other arm off. It tends not to be that easy however. Ensure that if they ask you for any "admin fees" or similar, you tell them to deduct the fees from your 125% buyback.

If you are looking for a lower risk investment I have some magic beans that I can let you have for a very good price. Past investors in my beans have seen exceptional returns; one got a goose that lays golden eggs.

No one, apart from the shysters that sell them, ever made anything other than a whacking big loss on these [STRIKE]scams[/STRIKE] schemes.
Hotel room, student "pods" or rooms, wine growing, Christmas trees, parking spaces, storage containers. Scam scam scams chased by the naive , gullible, stupid, careless.
Don't be one of them.

That's not quite true. The best [STRIKE]scams[/STRIKE] schemes actually pay the correct "dividends" for a while so as to appear more plausible. I put forward Madoff and LC&F as principle evidence m'lud.
Of course they are just giving the [STRIKE]investors[/STRIKE] suckers some of their own money back, enough to build up a nice credible story to reel in moe people who ask questions such as "have they been making payments " and regard thata s evidence they are credible.

Ah, but while they're paying "dividends" people don't turn up here saying "Has anyone received any payments from..."

Once they do, then the answer is no.

Example: No-one posted that question in the LCF thread at any point. Once payments stopped the scheme collapsed noisily.
