Well we had planned an early evening tea but when walking the dog we came across another dog walker who'd lost his dog - & having worn that particular tshirt - knew how he was feeling so set about looking for the dog. Luckily, after about 45 minutes we found her so I've done extra steps & wearing my weighted vest as well.

Had a more wraps than I was intending to afterwards so the plan has gone a little out of the window .

Am planning on doing the beef stew tomorrow so will have to prepare it later.

Well done on everyone's weight losses & all those who've been nominated for miss slinky!

So were we all - there's a group of us that seem to walk our dogs at the same time so there was a bit of a posse looking out for her.

Even the youngsters who congregate up there helped out as well

New Challenge time already, that came around fast! So pleased I joined up for the last 3 weeks of this one as I'm 11.5 lbs lighter thanks to the support from this group than I would have been if I'd waited.

Can you put me down for -14 lbs for the next challenge please Kathrynha

Esmy, how do you do your coating please?[/QUOTE]

I dip the fish pieces in egg then a mixture of breadcrumbs and smashed up ryvita to make it more crunchy. I cook them in the oven as the coating falls off if I try to fry them. Yours look lovely!

Unfortunately DGD thinks garlic is poison - I'll add garlic to almost anything!

  • Not looking forward to WI on Wednesday as I've been very naughty over the weekend (had a great time though!).

Have a text from my consultant this evening though to say I've been nominated for Miss Slinky, so that's nice!

    Hello!
Apologies for being AWOL. I was away from Thursday to yesterday.
I went away determined I would be good after the loss that got me my two stone award. Well... I was nearly good :D
Thursday I accidentally went over my syns by 1/2 a syn. I started well- took cooked pasta with me to the hotel and bought a salad and some chicken and ham. I ate that which filled me up and then that was my last meal that day- i went out that night and just picked and picked. I think I did well to actually only go just over my syns though.
Friday again started fine- hotel breakfast- HEXB weetabix with f/f yoghurt and fruit salad, followed by bacon which I cut the fat off, two poached eggs, mushrooms, beans and a grilled tomato. Coffee and water to drink- few syns for oil. Lunch was a Boots meal deal- 1 syn for sushi. I went to the rugby and took a salad and some other healthy stuff- I ate all that and realised it was freezing and I wanted something hot, so I had a hot chocolate. I was encouraged to learn that it was just Galaxy hot choc made with just hot water and so it was only 3.5 syns. Then I er- finished my friend’s chips. And then had a ham sandwich for supper.
Saturday- again started well, early train journey so had fruit and yoghurt for breakfast and salad for lunch, tuna jacket spud and salad for tea... then I went on my sister’s birthday night out where I may have consumed a full bottle of fizzy alcohol free wine and a hot dog.
Yesterday- was fine until the interval of the show I was watching where I consumed a mini tub of caramel crunch ice cream and an Appletiser. On the way home I went into M&S in the station and yep, you guessed it, didn’t go for the healthy option. I had a New York deli pastrami sandwich, a bag of Sweet Chilli crisps and half a box of mini sausage rolls.
Today was WI- absolutely dreading it but.... I STS! Never been so relieved in my life!!!
I bought a dress off a plus size selling site on Facebook for a fiver- it arrived on Thursday morning so I decided to take it with me to wear Saturday night. It was a beautiful Quiz dress, would have been really expensive when new but was in really good condition. I wasn’t sure about it when I tried it on- it was a halter neck and I didn’t have a bra to go under it. I had a little win at bingo on Friday afternoon so I hit Primarni and bought a bra and a cardigan to wear over the top of it. I wore it on Saturday night and got so many compliments- it was a size 18 and fit me like a glove. I felt really good in it- but couldn’t resist telling everyone who admired it that it only cost me a fiver :rotfl:
Monday’s menu (not really very good as I was helping out on weigh at the late session tonight, I normally weigh first thing but I was trying not to eat anything heavy before weigh)
B: HEXB HiFi bar x 2, Apple, easy peeler, decaf coffee with HEXA s/s
L: Salmon and boiled egg salad, decaf coffee with HEXA
T: Ham pasta salad, HiFi bar (3 syns) water, Vimto Zero
S: 5 Crackerbreads (5 syns) with Laughing Cow Light Blue cheese (part of HEXA) and chicken chunks, Milkybar buttons (4.5) Crisps (6.5 syns) decaf tea with remainder of HEXA
    Syns: 19
    Night all xxx
