  • Welcome new faces :)

maman is right - I do think that writing things down is best :) plus I am a stationery geek and love a good notebook!

    Today changed a little:
breakfast: 2 eggs scrambled served with spinach and ham
lunch: supermarket small salad pot; shred carrot, pepper, sweetcorn, boiled egg, orzo pasta, rice. counting 7 syns in case of hidden ingredients!
tea: will still be chicken with a jacket potato served with spinach, cucumber, tomato, mushrooms, pickled onion and beetroot :)
because of syns in lunch I don't think I will have my 2 syn hot choc before bed instead I may have a cup of tea and a hifi bar

haven't had any hea or b yet; not sure if i'll squeeze them in in full!

Happy to report that there are still no fireworks here, tweets.

Oh my, lush, you have so much willpower when faced with food that isn’t SW friendly!

Hi, jayII, there are lots of very helpful people on this thread. You’ll like them.

lush, I have NO issues to contend with and I still can’t get myself in hand weightwise at all. I do not have a single excuse/reason for this; it is shameful. Well done you.

Sorry you’re having to curtail your holiday, Denise. I’m glad your OH can sort this out himself; mine finds hammering a nail complicated.

kathrynha, it’s good that you were eating loads; it’s not so long ago that you could hardly eat anything at all.

gts, sorry you didn’t get to enjoy the engagement celebrations, but as you pointed out, and in someone else said earlier, “Every cloud …”

Oooh, bubbs, you do make a tasty looking dinner!

    Night all.
Thanks, i just made it to try we didnt have it for dinner i had some cold for lunch was lush , today's effort is going to be home meade chunky fish fingers:p

    Hello everyone :hello:

I'd like to join in and take part in the next challenge if you'll have me :)

I managed to give up the ciggies over a year ago, inspired by the lovely bubbs. Since then the weight has slowly crept on, I now have a wardrobe full of clothes I can't get in to :o

I started lurking (after following bubbs and tweets here) and over the last 2 months I've lost 13lb, mainly from using the advice in the first few posts, and reading the very helpful daily posts, especially the ones giving their meal plans for the day. Looking at other people's menus gave me a place to start from.

I still have 17lb to get to my target, so I will aim for a target of -7lb for the new challenge.
Well done Chris:T:T:T welcome to another mad house:p i have a wardrobe full of clothes that i can get in twice some of them:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Well done, shiprob; I’m glad you’ve found a way to maintain your target weight.

Hi, hollowhead and Chrisv, and welcome to our motley crew.

Well, surprisingly I have to report -4lbs. I think that means I have a toty overall loss (still up on January though. Disgraceful). I really can’t believe it, so no doubt I’ll have a gain next week. No No No. Think positive, greentiger. I WILL lose something next week. I was thinking of ducking out on the next challenge as I’ve been so disheartened, but that wee overall loss shows me there is a spark of hope there, so I’ll aim for 6lbs off for next challenge, which will take me back below the [STRIKE]stone [/STRIKE]barrier marker.

:T:T:T:T well done on your loss
