    I'm baaaaaaack!
Had a brilliant trip, weather was pretty good most of the time and occasionally fantastic. Food was delicious BUT that means +4.2lbs for me, can't complain. No outings this week (apart from Saturday, of course) so I am determined to make inroads on that.
I'll have to read back and see what's been going on. ttfn.

aye he has a swollen vein - can't spell the medical term haha! we were worried it might have been a clot/dvt but blood tests say no. a week of active rest and it should get better by itself. if not I'll have to drag him back!

I've just boiled some baby potatoes to have for lunches. I can warm them up then add salady bits for lush winter salads! also made little baked omelettes for breakfasts - they have spinach, tomato and red pepper in :D

Well we do have some skinny minnies on here...well done ladies.

I think the scales tend to stop for us around the half stone/full stone marks.... it is the little demons who are hiding in the scales!

Bear with me, folks, I’m a week behind! I may be duplicating some comments.

    Hi, VALM and mookiepook.

Congrats, Sunshine, Msm , DV (ai, caramba!) and gts.

    Enjoy your new job, Tete.

It seems we were lucky with the weather, even in Wester Ross and Caithness it didn’t get too windy. Saturday past was the windiest and DH had to do the ‘Caithness stoop’ when he was out walking round Duncansby Head. But we still didn’t have jackets on as it was quite mild!

Sorry you’ve been ill again, kathrynha. You didn’t miss me out as I was away. I’m amazed you’ve kept so well on track for us.

Well done on getting SOTW, Msm.

I love your approach to hospital food, maman. Oh, btw, no doubt you’re delighted to see your ‘lying Dutchman’ get his comeuppance.

Well that’s me up to page 60, so I’ll stop for tonight.

Oh and I might have bought 12 handmade chocs from Cocoa Mountain in Durness on Thursday. That was instead of a hot chocolate which I don’t like. DH said it was the best he has ever had and, unusually, I did think it looked amazing, just like pure melted chocolate. I am sharing the chocs with DH although they were supposed to be just for me. There are 4 left, so you see [STRIKE]we[/STRIKE] I have been quite restrained!
