Just a quick check it as I'm desperately conserving battery on my phone. Car is the only way I have of charging it and it seems like such a waste of petrol :o

Starting to feel a bit better. Had to go to the GP to get tablets though. He confirmed gastroenteritis. Nice souvenir from my holiday :rotfl:

Haven't decided yet whether I'll drag myself to WI tomorrow. Definitely won't be staying to class if I do. According to my own scales Monday I had put on more than I'd lost since joining  On the plus side the gastro should have made a good dent in that :rotfl: I'll update tomorrow evening if I do go to class. I'm worried if I text my consultant to put me down for holiday because I'm sick, she'll think I'm just making excuses to avoid the scales :rotfl:

What do you want me to put in the spreadsheet?
If you want to ignore it, it will just go in as a holiday.

If you are ill don't go to weigh in. It doesn't matter what your consultant thinks.

No problem adding extra milk tete if you want to use the syns. I've been drinking hot NAS Ribena or hot lemon/lime water lately to keep within the milk allowance.

I didn't need extra milk in the end, though my weetabix were rather drier than I normally have them! Was reassuring to know I'm well within my limit without measuring though, on the days when I only use milk in drinks.

I have a cupboard full of fruit and herbal teas (literally, it's embarrassing) - maybe I'll set myself a mini challenge to use them up by 2018...

Wish we had decent charity shops round us. We have plenty of them, but the stuff they sell isn't that nice and the prices they want are as much as some of the items were new.

I just stick to cheapish shops, and even have a couple of brighter coloured items in my wardrobe now in amongst all the black and navy.

Same - a lot of the stuff is Primark and supermarket brands, all stretched and bobbly and being sold for much the same price as new.

Speaking of colours, do any of you subscribe to those colour assessment things where they say you're a 'cool summer' etc? I have friends who swear by them but according to an online questionnaire thing I should be wearing pinks and khakis which I don't think suit me at all. So I ignore that but I'm definitely trying to cultivate a more 'together' wardrobe - it used to be all the colours of the rainbow but now there's a lot of black, grey, navy and red, and the odd yellow. Sorry, not really SW related but I find it interesting.

Miss Teach - wowzer! What fab pictures, a brilliant way to stay motivated! I'm at the other end of things where I'm trying to nip weight gain in the bud. The clothes I have that don't fit are too small rather than too big, so maybe I need to go through the wardrobe and see how tight they all are so I can work towards fitting into certain items again...

Where are you off to Kathryn? Hope you have a wonderful time, you really deserve it! I'm away for the weekend myself, and have a lot on with starting new job soon, or I would've helped with the spreadsheet, sorry.

Eek I think I know what you're getting at Mrs R! Sadly I might be the same tomorrow as TOTM has hit, which might make for a disappointing first week back on plan.

Hope you feel better soon Whiplashy! Seems to be a lot of it about at the moment.

Yesterday went slightly off as I didn't make the batch of speedy chilli so I ended up having a meal of tinned ravioli and grated cheese after I got in from running last night :o. Still only finished on 12 syns but it wasn't a very balanced day. I did however spend the afternoon gardening and then go for a run.

    Today:
    B - Apple and yog
D - Jacket spud and speedy quorn chilli, pickles
T - Garlic and lemon chicken casserole with AB carrot & swede mash
    HEA - Milk
    HEB - Nuts
    Syns - Sugar in coffee (3), frozen jacket spud (1), mash (1), hot choc (2) = 7

Have a good day everyone! x

EDIT: I've just counted all my teabags and there are 200!! 74 days til 2018... I think that's doable!

I wear what colours I like and I think look okay on me. I like turquoise, blues, purples and some bright pinks. Don't like reds, greens, oranges, yellows or browns. Also pastels don't look good on me.

Just done an online thing, and it looks like I'm a winter, and I am wearing what suits me :)

I'm off to Devon. No where exotic, but within easy reach of NHS services!

GettingThereSometime is helping with the spreadsheet, thanks. Sure you lot will be nice to her as she is worrying about it.
Worst that happens is you get a typed list on Tuesday instead of the chart, and that will be fine.

I will probably be on here during the week, but only on my phone, so posting is a bit more fiddly, and I wont have the spreadsheet with me.

Good luck fitting back into the clothes Tete! I've got a couple of new dressed that I bought that are quite snug and not really wearable at the moment so the goal is to fit into them ASAP!
